Re: [Community] Griefers solution
The reason fighting back doens't work is because yes, we'll win, but they still manage to disrupt rp. They still can gank you when only a few people in your guild are online up north and that will be enough.

I totally support this, I'm keeping Blueshielded despite my guild being against it. Viva la Resistance!

I would advice people to look to other possibilities if it makes little sense for the in Stormwind. Bob, I think your druids might be more at home somewhere on Teldrassil, for example.
Shattrath's gates are also always open. It's a great place for rag-tag misfits to fit in. The Lower City is filled with zany refugees from all walks of life, and A'dal pretty much takes in anyone, except the overly overt Felmongers.

This. Breathe some life into the Kalimdor community. Makes more sense for most of the Gilneas people to be in Teldrassil instead of Gilneas, anyway.

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
Continuing RP in raidchat after the first gank would be a much better solution than abandoning the concepts of the guilds and ending up as another part of the Stormwind RP community.
But Dumon already signed on behalf of the GLF, so I guess we're doing it.

Then don't go to Stormwind. There are many more areas to use than just SW.

Doesn't your concept die when you're locked in a 24/7 corpse run by ABoC?
If you think that's the preferable scenario, though, go to Gilneas np.

*Warning this person can't be held responsible for any horde killed while gathering ore/ etc , being bored, After/before Tol Barad, after/before Arena/BGs/RBGs And all his past and future random horde killings*
If all else fails We'll just have to resort to more.... Deceptive tactics

If you add sanctuaries on that list, you will get:
The Stair of Destiny
Shattrath City
Acherus: The Ebon Hold
Dalaran
Argent Tournament Grounds
The Frozen Halls, Icecrown Citadel.
Angrathar the Wrathgate, Dragonblight (though not a true sanctuary in the letter of the term, if one has completed the Wrathgate questline, the area-wide debuff prevents any aggressive action)
The Maelstrom
Temple of Earth, Deepholm
Malfurion's Breach, Molten Front
I know some of these aren't really suited for roleplay, but I thought I should mention them regardless.

Quite so Burgen.
Also i'm quite proud of my community right now to see it moving so definatively like this as one. Brings a tear to an old server Dinosaurs eye.

Are places with neutral guard like Booty Bay a step to far?

nutrel guards are easely killed
I have beffor been ganked in booty bay where the attackers were powerfull and in enough numbers to not only gank me but the guards as well.. so no.. does not quite work in the goblin towns sadly

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
The knockback/snare mechanics of the (goblin) neutral NPCs is an annoyance, but controllable. It's worse when they kill you because someone else attacked and you happen to be "seen as aggressive"... bloody mechanics. Plus it is very easy to exploit guard spawning/LoS etc in some of those places.
Wouldn't count on "neutral" as being "safe" in the same way "uncontested"/"sanctuary" are.

Despite my guild would not be welcome in bluezones due to the nature of what we RP, I'll try to keep my guild in Scholomance or other instances/raids. Might even move to Northrend for a while.
But anyways, *supports this movement*.

Ahh yes...I remember Heartglen or whatever it's called. But let us smile .... I saw that ABoC are trying to get into the cities. Here lets face it... the npc guards could kill them.At this rate we can just RP and laugh

Exactly. Last night most Alliance RP'ers were in safe-zones... so aBoC got bored and attacked Stormwind, and not a single RP'er bothered with them. This took -one- night, Just think how desperate and unhappy they will be in a week or three?
Starving them works. But i think we need to address the greater problem about how we as a community view contested zones and pvp, otherwise i fear this problem may re-materialise further down the road.

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
oh it is very likley that if we venture out it will happen again,, this is a certainty.. so for this situation I think an underlying contingency plan is needed for such eventuality..
Probably startvation again.. but instead of wating for a gank guild to fully transfer.. we starve the obvious scouts thus preventing the main mass of gangers from transfering..
but for that we need to recognise guild gank scouts when they arive
