Re: [Community] Griefers solution
@ Ross, then fine. But I still refuse to bluesheild...
@ Helm, well, not like I'm actively seeking w/pvp, but I do enjoy it.
As for the gankers yes, it's a problem, but the talk of all/some moving to AD I think is a little bit extreme.

Question, where does this place RP-PvP events?

the same as they have been for a while, pointless as they will get crashed and ruined by outsiders.

As said ingame, Seiko. These moves will not only starve them from their "prize" but it will bring the community closer together by using the "safe" zones, and I can safely say, it looks pretty good so far.

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
In regards to AWoW, the whole idea about 'Faction vs. faction' is that outside parties should hopefully not have an influence on the battles themselves.
But to matters at hand, I think this thread might be a step in a direction that'll help us get rid of ABoC, but in this case, will it prevent all RP-PvP from the guilds that sign this list?
As we have another battle upcomming soon, I'd like to get out to the Horde wether we'll go about this battle or not.

I'm all for this as long as it will make sense IC.
All of lordaeron can't migrate into the IF. The city is cramped as it is with the ongoing war. Coordinate it with TTH IC. This could deliver more RP too, making this forced retreat from hostile zones a win-win. (no more annoying douchebags and more IC conflict)

I must agree, some people do enjoy the PvP aspect, and it shouldn't be forced upon them to not do so. Not that this is forcing of course.
Wait I'm confused your saying you actively go out into the world looking for World PvP/enjoy having these pvp guilds crash events? I mean, no one saying you can't go into battlegrounds and such, it's just boycotting the outside world(which is dead not including RP) and shouldn't really affect your ability to pvp.

Honestly, from my view here on my deck chair with my glass of something nice, err looks like the Alliance are terrified and running for the fort.
Have the Horde done all that....

No, Griefers have done that. for the past three weeks, every night without exception KoS and gilneans guilds have been unable to RP in arathi or gilneas, and i've heard the expedition Thelos led to outland has begun to suffer this evening too.
We cant RP in contested zones, at all.

Did you give an epic speech yet, you can't have an avatar like that and not make an epic speech about -The Enemy-.

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
See this is where I am kinda confused.
I am Alliance but main on the Horde, I get ganked on Horde far more than I ever did on Alliance side. At least when I died on Alliance it was always AboC but now its a whole bunch more including guilds that only log in for a quick kill then log out again.
Your best bet is to gather forces and not run, why don't you teach them not to throw stones in glass houses, since it seems there is only one guild to worry about.

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
GDI is an alliance PvP guild that accepts pretty much everyone, some of the members are quite ABoC status worthy, but alot of them have been kicked/left.
That doesn't mean that they aren't douchebags left, and as late as this evening we caught some of them, led by Cell (Outside the guild) trying to grief the Gurubashies.
Anyhow, there's another topic for this discussion!

Wargames could be a solution for RP-PvP - you could even do a concluding battle to the AWoW current campaign set in 'Dun Morogh' (i.e. Alterac Valley). The last crack at Wargames ended poorly due to a misunderstanding between Horde and Alliance, but I reckon it could still be done successfully.

Hmm, an interesting idea.
I'll be looking into that.
Edit: I think I'll be taking this into the AWoW thread.

I'm dissapointed in you. You let me down, that's not a speech. Have you no standards?

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
as for me personaly.. I thropw in a big hearty / sign
as for the warderns once i get back into wow tomorow I will discuss with the new guild leader what has transpired here if he does not already know,..
Most of the warderns rp is not locked in the hold as the only bluezone north of ironforge.. as this is going ahead I fear the warderns are going to get isolated.. as such what can be done about allowing them in sw and giving them a certain amount of "leway" when it comes to lore as we will end up going there less threw ic reasons and more because there will be noone to rp with us up north

Re: [Community] Griefers solution
KoS now has a guild rule whereby anyone who reply's to their threads or reply's to their posts... gets a swift, unconditional guild kick.
I think thats pretty excessive, and I dont think I will stop rping in contested areas but /sign
