I'm inclined to think it'll arrive in spring 2013, yes. It starts in March 2013 and stops in June 2013. So that's quite a big window anyway. What I do know is that if they delay it'll really serve to improve the game. This is Rockstar we're talking about, they deliver great games. Period.

The bigger question is: When will it arrive on PC?
I'm never gonna play a GTA game on console. I played the first three (four counting Vice CIty) on computer. Gonna keep playing them on computer!

It suffers from buying power, since you need to pay to get access to enough actionbar to hotkey all of your skills.

When I played, at level 40 I had skills, all hotkeys, all occaionally used, over three different bars.
I'm not sure if you get one or two. I know a friend posted on Facebook that you need to pay to get enough bars to play efficient at max level.
Aka, if you want to do more than level(Or well, RP, which isn't part of the corde game as such) you need to pay.

No matter what you think of Black Ops 2 or any CoD game, I suggest everyone pirates Black Ops 2 at the very least, just for the campaign. If it dind't have online, the campaign would be worth it alone.

The gameplay is slick as always, running on 60fps, but the thing that truly sells it is the story and how much freedom you have to change it. Four different endings, for the best ending you literally have to do things you wouldn't expect on the usual FPS railway format.

The levels were so different and memorable, the villain was like a joker/Silver from Skyfall mix. Fucking pleased!

was thinking about getting AC3 but realised i hadnt played brotherhood or relevations so i picked them both up

halfway through brotherhood and its pretty fucking awesome i must say

Relevations is pretty much the exact same game only you're playing an old man. I tried playing them back to back earlier this year, was well into Brotherhood, but after around 2-3 hours of Relevations I just got a bit board as it's the exact same stuff.

AC3 is looking pretty sweet though, and with the PC release this Friday (much better graphics) I'ma finally get to give it a blast.

I can't put people off AC3 enough!

It opens well, but it is quite dull, they do a decent twist and create a nice beginning story. Then you begin playing as Connor. Now, you don't get any true open world till you grow up and do a couple of targets. The game takes like four hours before you can even get into the reason why AC is so popular - free running and killing people! It treats you as a child with the controls that you should be used to be now in an attempt to introduce new players into the genre, but even a new player got the whole bloody jist in the first section.

Connor the character... He should just be called "Slightly frustrated native American." That summarises his role in the story, his motives, his every bloody action and story segment. He dulled the shit out of me.

The economy system was pointless! Yahtzee summarises this bit up really well. You learn to make crap, so you can sell crap, so you can improve your boat, so that you can open more trade routes to make and sell more crap. It doesn't give you some awesome new weapons or unique abilities, it just gives you a reason to accumulate hours.

You get to finally play as Desmond! For brief periods in a very linear style... great.

I have a fanboy friend who if you badmouth anything to do with Assassin's Creed, he just bums it and won't have any of it. He didn't like this one. If you play it, pirate it!

Still on the subject of planetside 2 (even though it wont let me download it on Steam or through its actual client) will there be a server/client/guild people from DB will be playing on? At?

Im not sure what defias people will play on. In beta the EU server with most people was on Eurydome/dis or something. Im guessing its changed now and we could just go all "hey lets gather on this server as this faction" which if I am tailgatting Nifty on would be the red communist guys. The game is most fun on the highest pop servers.

EDIT: Someone who has already got the official release client can perhaps tell us the high pop servers and those who want to play together can decide I guess.

I think the servers are called Miller and Woodsman (or something to that effect). Don't know which one I'll be rolling on yet.

Everyone should try it out! But if it seems like a game you might want to get into, either try it out with friends or be very outgoing in the public groups. There's very little a player can do on his/her own in this game, but it's not a bad thing! It's just properly like being a soldier in a war, kinda.

Gave Planetside 2 a quick blast this morning. I swear I was killed by friendly fire 2-3 times as much as by the enemy. Hell I saw at least 6 people running around spraying the ceiling's of taken places. There really should be an IQ test required before some people are allowed near a keyboard.

Servers seem down for now sadly.

I'm sure Hump if friendly fire becomes a problem they'll put in a better measure to stop people getting put off by that. Though friendly fire should be allowed in any case.

EDIT: They are up. Rhogar on Miller server under Terran Republic.
