Been getting back into Fall of Cybertron and Mass Effect 1 again.
Have had a blast, literally. Shooting the shit out of Transformers, online, is not just a nostalgia kick, it's also amazing with it's tight controls and very flexible gameplay.

I love it.

In ME1 I've restarted with a new Vanguard, a black man with scrawny face that's a complete cock. The serious business only type of guy who pisses on anyone who gets in his way, which contrasts quite heavily with what I've been playing previously (Full Paragon, Soldier class)

Do people still play the Transformer games online? I was not sure how long the community would last, loved them while I played them.

Oh yes, they're being played daily. I play Fall of Cybertron over steam every day, and there's a surprising amount of people still playing. (I'm easily one of the best players, and no, I'm not trying to brag. Most of the players are really bad at it, so getting +10 kills out of 40 is easy.)

Unfortunately there's some hackers (russians), but overlooking the flaws of the game, it's fucking terrific.
I own War for Cybertron, but I've never got down to playing the SP of it, mostly because I don't want to solo it since you can have two buddies with you. There's no point in going solo if you don't need to, if you're gonna have AI companions anyway.

@Copper - I used to have it on console, about the time of the release. But barely use my Xbox anymore, if its cheap on steam I might pick it up, just because I loved the multiplayer.

@Mikasa - Got a bunch of friends who are obsessed with that game already. I've played CKII but never actually sat down and got into Europa, might do at some point.

Unfortunately, it's still rather expensive on Steam. It's a good game tho, I imagine it's quite a bit better with mouse and keyboard since they actually did a very good job porting the controls over to PC. The buttons are well placed, the movement feels extremely solid.

After months of resistance, I've finally decided to purchase Heart of the Swarm online.

I sort of want to get back into multiplayer Starcraft II. Getting into PvP in WoW has sparked my interest in competetive videogames again. I used to be quite enthousiastic about Starcraft when Wings of Liberty came out, making it all the way to Diamond League in the first season - I'm sure that achievement counts for nothing in the current meta-game, but back then it was something I was very proud of, and climbing the ladder felt good. I want to get that good feeling back - along with the intense rage over losing in stupid ways. It's a game that can make me feel extremely statisfied and extremely upset, having once shattered a keyboard over losing. You just don't get that rush from WoW. I'm chasing those old highs and lows again.

...I sound like a junkie.
