Well yes, you are wrong. As Mandui does put forward her ideas, and most are supported as far as I know. I've never seen her carry on when opposed. I just think a project like this cannot be done without everyone's support or it'll look a little "i'ma rule ovah you." Just my thought process.

Maybe you should stop picking on Geldar, and look at the general panorama. You may "go along with it" eitherway, we can't stop you. But with general disapproval, an idea for a concept that is practically social in nature will die. Very soon.
So I believe it would be best if you stopped the tantrum about how the world is against you, and go back to the drawing board.

I'm not over-ruling anybody,
I don't see myself claiming this Parliament will decide everything for everything.
I don't see it claiming Jurisdiction over everybody, I'v said multiple times, things that nobody else discusses.

I don't remember asking for advice or opinions, apart from the riddle event I was planning to make, where all the replies were actually positive. However, I do remember you doing this in The Ebon Council thread and also the Shadow Council. Regardless, turning the comments around like this isn't exactly a sign of good argumentation, especially when you can't withstand the boomerang hit.

ok back to page one. this seems to be about getting polictice role play going. ( not every one taste, but to each there own)
as for races treatment of others, allmost all nations look to there homeborders frist then to the outside, would you happly go and see dwarfs to talk about gnomes and what sort of wizzbang they have made, when orcs and burning your home? ( bad example i know)

the defintion i use for alliance is : a formal agreement establishing an association or alliance between nations or other groups to achieve a particular aim.

the problem i see with this is
A) timing-- the world is shaking apart ( followed by deathwing attacking) not the best time to bring in a added organ
b) interest-- you say a repsentaive from each race? plus servants and what knot. is alot harder to get. as point out allmost all politic establisments have problems keeping a full attendace at there own events.
c)location-- were would this be held? it have to be at a nurtral location.
d) races-- each race has it own traditons when it comes down to poltics, how will you go about it. if not it be the diplomatic one that turns up( who goes to other races any way)*** the alliance and horde have had alliances in the past so can they come.

you can re work the idea in to two things as i see it. you could help use this as a sort of basic testbed for the house of nobles.
or a event for cartea, using the whole this as a reforge of the alliance to deal with this deathwing

( sorry for spelling but i put it down to wine)

There is far, far, far, far too much mention of power in this thread. It's really rather annoying because power has so little to do with RP. This idea may well hold no power over anyone, exactly the same as the council, circle and senate.

But it doesn't make it a good idea.

On a player-player basis I do not want Geldar's opinion.
And it's my right NOT to have it in MY threads, and seeing as his opinion has nothing to do with the thread, He can be classified as trolling. Hence breaking the rules.

Now,
I stick to my idea, because I want to try it. The feedback given is un-supportive because in most peoples view this has to many flaws and complexities to work. But why should that stop me from trying? If I want to try RP it out, then I can?

Alright, Parliaments, parties etc just take away from what little fantasy theme is left in WoW. If we wanted to do this, we'd get involved with it IRL. But we dont, we get characters with big swords, meet up in an empty field and kill each other a few times.

Does anyone even remember this guy?

Not rocking the boat. You are of course in your own right allowed to do as you please. However this is a public forum, this is not your thread, this is a public thread. It's everyone's. Technically if you wanna get nit-picky it's Julia's thread, her forum. So.. But no, the spam wasen't need, granted.

Also, can you stop taking digs at the council please? It's getting rather irritating.
