Horde locking down MoP zones

Relax and Figure out how to cross the bridge when you get to it.

When MoP hits, we'll have two small PvP guilds and a few individual RPers. We'll all be kept out of the new MoP zones until Aboc decides they've had their fun and they go away. And that could take a while <_<

If we don't have the people for it now, we won't have them in MoP. It's something we need to prepare for, just as they're doing.

And individual, unprepared levellers, not organised in any way, not geared and not in a raidgroup, going into Pandaria, getting ganked, and forming a PuG and wiping as more Horde come will do what good?

There's alot of pvers, that also pvp. Not to mention the amount of people that come back on expac launch? Honestly your completly blowing this out of proportions, it's just annoying. Is this your first expansion launch?

Like 50% of the current inactives won't come back when MoP hits anyway.

This hasn't been a problem in any expansion before, and it won't be this one either.

I may be naive, but if fighting doesn't make gankers give up, and ignoring them either, we might as well try to kill some of them. And if doesn't work we could just do istances and BGs, at least we tried. Ando also, I don't know well the Horde guilds involved, but I can hardly picture them running around the Jade Forest 24/7 looking for us: I guess at some point they will need to level up, do istances and do BGs just like we do.

Fml, I can honestly say I'm not looking forward to the release! Barely got time as Uni starts again as it is, this will be proper gash to level. Yes it'll be a bit of fun at the beginning. Then picture yourself alone, got a few quests in an area, close to dinging then you'll go off for the night. Boom. Ganking begins.

I'm only on this server for the RP! So yes, I'm on the wrong server for levelling. I remember in the game Rift, there is a zone where the quest hubs are on either side of a square small town. Inside the town is where you must complete the quests... whilst the opposite faction does it. It took my friends, who went on at a non-busy hour, 20 mins to complete. It took me 3 hours.

This really isn't going to be the doomsday you make it out to be.

First of all, Jade Forest is huge. 50% bigger than Twilight Highlands. With no flying available the horde attackers will all alone on the Alliance side of the zone which leads to the next point:
It's also the ONLY starting zone in MoP, meaning EVERYONE will be there. The hypothetical 100 group of hordies is going to be a drop in the ocean.

Besides, the last time I saw horde gather 100 players in one place the whole server was on its knees. As in, about to go down. Crash.

The goal will be to break through the quests asap and get basic greens, the gear difference in MoP is incredible. I am sorry this is gonna happen to you guys, but you know, assholes exist.

Flying isn't available in the starting zone? Or are you implying no one will buy the expac flying?

Flying becomes available only at Lvl 90 in Pandaria. So the first 48h should be relatively aerial attack free.

They aren't levelling to 90, Horde blockading the levelling zones will be mostly 85, with some groups rushing to 90 through dungeons.

Well there you have it.

I'm all up for leveling in a small group as pocket-healer.

I don't see why it matters what level they are when we'll all be stuck at 85 anyway, unless we go through dungeons.

Raenmar, almost the entire server will be leveling. It's not just a few RPers and two, or three, PvP guilds. It's the -ENTIRE- alliance. If the horde gathers that 100 people in the same area whilst tons, and tons again, of alliance people are there questing the server will most likely go down. Or it will be a lagfest.

So either the server goes down, or we get ganked

Just like every other start of an expansion so far.

Alliance - Be prepared, some wpvp guilds will be killing Alliance. know what? Some non-wpvp guilds will too, and randoms in levelling guilds, raiders, casuals, your mum etc.

Horde: Ditto.

well. I have decided to push monny threw instancies so a 90 healer should be avalable quite quick

I understand it well and frankly I don't think they have the attention span to have a lasting effect on anything.

Well according to you the Horde can't even organise a City raid without you super-duper Alliance types beating them into submission. You seem to be contradicting yourself, my dear.

I will be amazed if the wpvp guilds do this together. It will mostly be singular guilds, having fun as a guild and on voice-chat - i.e few outsiders.
