That was the meeting for planning I think. Still announces the campaing though?

I could be wrong of course, as I was nowhere near.

I have no idea, but the meeting is after this little campaign.

(actually managed to damage a 90 DK quite badly with Cyrik the other day, despite him being 85. Took down about 50% of his hp before I died)

A noise can be heard throughout the Wetlands as the Dwarven troops are marching to the Thandol Span, along with the Siege Engines and Siege Tanks backed up by the airplanes. Locals wonder what the Dwarves are up against but from the looks of it, they are preparing for war.

Unfortunately, you'll have to find another guild/tribe/whatever if you want a reason to get involved, if that was your intention anyway. As of tonight, OotRB has been 'driven away' from Hammerfall by its potential allies, and will as such no longer take part in the campaign, at least on an IC level.

Sad to hear it, Koz. I'd very much been looking forward to clashing with you guys.

Sin Belore will be around to defend Hammerfall, but we're not going to bother with Stromgarde due to the recent conflict between the forsaken and the Sin'dorei. Those bastards don't deserve to expand their lands any further :3

Koz, we had no intention of driving you away, either IC or OOC. We're leaving there today in fact, so please don't let last night keep you away from the event.
We didn't expect one of our members, one of your members or the Forsaken to kick off.
We headed to Hammerfall to RP with you all, not send you running.

Defending Hammerfall? That is not the reason why your counciller of war agreed to join forces, no.
I'd rather say you agree to defend Forsaken borders, because you dont want Alliance any closer to your borders, at all.
But each to their own reality, as long as you fight our fight

Did she agree as councillor of war, or as a an officer that has someone above her in the chain of command?

Councilor of war doesn't make decisions from behalf of the Sin Belore, unfortunately. She can advice and ask some military organizations to help the forsaken, but forcing is a no go.
As much as I OOCly would like to join the WPVP in Stromgarde, we can't do that for IC reasons
It is possible that something unexpected happens which makes us join the rest of them in Stromgarde, but at the moment it seems unlikely. So ICly we're only aiming to help the Horde by defending Hammerfall.
Vangrel and Nessra had a conversation last week, and she mentioned to him that SB is only going to help the forsaken if someone attacks Undercity. Atleast for now!

From what I understood from the course of the evening, withdrawing from the settlement was the obvious and inevitable result of people apparently wanting to hunt one another down and kill each other. As far as I'm concerned, no harm done. Though OOCly, a notice could have been good just so that we could have kept it into account in regards to upcoming events and such.

It's a good questions, why oh why should someone not be able to order around people that they have no control over. Let us meditate on that.

We went over this months ago, the council isn't going to force things upon guilds, that a councillor is in a guild is only convenient, it doesn't somehow make a councillor suddenly outrank the actual guild leader, the only "authority" that exists, is the one allowed by others. If say, the request had been 2 weeks ago and the councillor of war has time to talk to people, either IC or OOC, then someone could have been "sent".
Kicking down the door and demanding that a number of people/guilds suddenly do something without any prior discussion is not smart.
