The Kingdom of Stromgarde has long been one of the strongest human nations, but following the third war a lot went wrong. Today we see a noble Highland, the Arathi Highland. The plains green and reaches as far as the eye can see. The capital city of Strom, Stromgarde City, however stands in ruins from the recent Shattering.
Notably the nation was entirely evacuated following the Forsaken expansion of Lordaeron.
Thus in Stormwind the Arathorians sought refuge and safety. But after months, the strong queen Saihna Trollbane rallied her lieutenants, and issued a call. Stromgarde was going home.
A many Arathorians answered the call, from all over Azeroth; Argent Crusaders, Seventh Legion, Stormwind soldiers, Northrend veterans and even the simplest of idler and civilian.
Mercenaries even heeded the call, albeit doing it for a payment, joining the army of Stromgarde, and marched with them home.

Our ancestors look down upon us with pride! The Great Suxen, first of ancestors grants us his never ending love. Arathorian or not, we all grew in the same womb, Arathi, and we all share the same ancestors so honor them, brothers and sisters! Honor them and fight for Arathor! For the Crown! And your Ancestors! Ah-hoom!

The Summary of the

Kingdom of Stromgarde;

The Kingdom is a heavy RP-PvP guild based around the blizzard's lore surrounding Strom and Arathor. Greatly enriched with it's own server lore, made by dedicated members, we have spun webs to make it work with the existing blizzard lore as best as we can.

Our concept;

We roleplay the Nation of Stromgarde as a whole, the Kingdom. We have our royalty, we have our army and we have our religious beliefs.

The Defias Brotherhood Arathorians are inspired by the Northern Vikings, The LotR Rohirim and the average concept of a Barbarian.
We are based in the Arathi Highlands following our role in the lore as a Kingdom; the motherland of human kingdoms.
We seek to roleplay out the lifestyle of which we have created, a more tribal way of life, and a belief of ancestral deities.
At the same time we roleplay defending and rebuilding our ruined homeland. Clearly our highlight is the military; the army life is a big center of the all daily Arathorian acts, and most Arathorians aspire to the attributes of a Warrior. For as a Nation we are known for always being dressed in battle armor, always prepared for combat.

About Us;

We have our own religion, based upon an Ancestral belief, with fictional ancestors of humanity. They were once living as us, but upon death, they reached the Ancestral Halls, where they become a greater deity, watching over their coming generations of descendants. This allows them to be something personal for everyone and anyone to believe in, pray to and gain strength from.
Secondly we have major Ancestors that are the source of fables and tales that are woven by Mothers to keep children behaved, or from Medics to calm the relentless Berserker.

We have our own language, made up, known as "Ancient Arathorian", the tongue spoken before tribes became nations and common was spoken.

We have a royalty branched of from Blizzard's own last ruler of Stromgarde; however we have prepared for the possible return of Danath Trollbane. If he intends to return in a future expansion or patch to claim the throne, such will be done and our Queen shall go down to a noble rather than royalty, and we shall see Danath as King, or Lord. Whichever Blizzard has in mind, if they ever intend to change it.


Who do we accept?

As of the new regime we currently accept all classes except Death Knights due to Religious reasons and Humans of all Nations, Worgen, Gnomes and Dwarves.


Officers;

Anaei Trollbane; The Regent-Rhan'ia(Princess) of Arathor, daughter of Saihna and currently leading in the place of the Queen.
Saihna Trollbane; The Shar(Queen) of Arathor, thus our wise and strong leader.
Timna Thorgint; The Dortola(Spymistress) of Arathor, she trains all the scouts, spies, archers and alike members of the guild, and deals with most security and interrogations.
Eodan Haidren; The Dank'thar(Warlord) of Arathor is the head of the army of Stromgarde, and also trains any melee fighters that are not scouts.
Adarc Haidren; The Dýrtolo (Beastmaster) of Arathor, taking care of the stables and animals of Stromgarde. Also handles training of the rangers.

These above, are names you can whispers for reasons of joining, information or overall contact with the guild.

Registry;

It's fairly simple, you contact a member to be poked towards an officer, or contact an officer right away, discuss with them your interests of joining and arrange an IC interview. Our Sub-forums are on these very forums and are accessible once you have joined the guild. It contains -everything- you need of our lore.


Disclaimer; A member can be in the guild and still believe in the Light. As can an Arathorian that believes in the Ancestors.

Ah-Hoom!

Despite yearly controversy regarding, well, everything! I still feel that KoA or KoS as it is now known, is one of the most contributing guilds to the server, especially in regards to the overflowing fanlore we create to enrich the concept.

Be it those massive seiges that Strom has upheld in the past, or more tame RP, KoS has and continues to be a fufilling and rewarding place to RP.

Bump. Many of my best memories come from the time I spent in this guild as Vasgar. I hope you manage to get it up on It's feet again, It contributed with a lot of rp and w-pvp in the past, and I am sure if you put your mind to it - It will do once again! AH-HOOM!

They were friends of Arathor whom lived in Stromgarde as citizen. The cermony was Arathorian, the party was normal.

Is there anywhere I could look up some lore on The Kingdom? If I were to make an Arathorian ^^.

There's quite a bit of lore in the forum section. Best thing you can do is try to contact someone. Saihna & Anaei are the most knowledgeable about the lore, though I can give you a hand aswell if you give me a shout in-game. =)
