Coming Saturday the Shado-pan will be teaching some hapless Alliance chums how to cope with their angst, so that they might not have to battle a Sha surge every time the beer runs dry. This event will be held in conjunction with Melnerag's Wild Tempest and will most likely be taken to a Shado-pan hub after we leave from Westwind.

I am sure that any Alliance character would be welcome to tag-along, should they be curious about this whole shady "Sha" business.

I hope we can get a similar event off the ground Hordeside, though this will depend more on initiative from actual Horde players than from us.

well sonja has a masive temper coupled with a short fuse and a very emotional personality so anti sha tecneques she could use.. from what i understand she has been quite lucky not to be sha'd up as of late

I strongly advice anyone who is interested in trying out Shado-pan role-play to first read the recently released short story (clicky), which tells you all you need to know and a little bit more.

Edit: I just noticed how horribly outdated the player list now is. I'll consider updating it once I've gauged the current SP scene more thoroughly.

Hmm, I'm regretting missing most of MoP, as it looks like I've missed some pretty good sheeit. That story was good, but I'm lacking a lot of crucial context from the looks of it.

NINJAEDIT: Haah, now we just need Dru and Ark to post here and we've completed the ensemble of erwtenpellers forum avatars in one page of a thread.

Edit 2: Oh, and Gruff... Just who else has one of those avatars so I don't miss them out on this list.

Unfortunately, I don't think Henita's got what it takes. She lacks both resilience and patience.

Those wanting to join the Shado-pan have a long and arduous road ahead of them - and according to the story, neophytes are unlikely to don the black. It's more likely they'll die a horrible death during the many trials the applicants have to suffer trough.

You don't have to join the Shado-pan in order to be a Pandaren warrior fighting for Pandaria though. There's plenty of Pandaren outside of the Shado-pan that take up arms to defend their precious homes. You needn't look further than Stoneplow for proof of that - and what to think of the Celestial guardians, such as the orders of Yu'lon and Niuzao?

The more I role-play my pandaren, the more I realise just how versatile they can be. Beween the happy merry-go-lucky Pandaren wanderers from the Isle and the grim and grizzly Shado-pan assasins there is ample space to work with.
