No, Solanum has never claimed to hold the title Magister ingame.
When the Magisters are well organised, and have some sort of selection procedure I might be inclined to partake, but for now I'm a bit tired of everyone and their mothers seemingly slapping on that (or another) title when their behaviour in character is far from fitting.

There is a bit of related character history, but that is something I don't feel like forcing down everyone's throat by posting it on the forums since most characters would have no way of knowing IC.

But during the formation this time it wasn't about classes, but more about individuals (not just IC but also OC) instead of ingame classifications.

I can understand this reasoning.

Some posts here also favor Magisters to be very political, if you tried to get a representative of every organisation in a council, it could get caught up fighting inside the council (Imagine a SB and a BK representative going at it because of the recent tensions).Depending on how things go and grow "real" magisters, blood knights, farstriders and such might be asked to join for their input, atleast two time someone speaking for the BK's would have been usefull.

I do disagree on this though. When I look at it from a pure IC perspective, it would seem only logical to me that the Magisters would have a position in the council, since they belong to one of the three most important factions of Silvermoon. Then again, you said it was not just about IC-classifications. Such things have to work when put into practice.

Question pour le conseil,

I have been very hazy on these meetings as I am -always- busy when they occur. However I am sure I can make this one, my question is, is it appropriate for an ambassador of another race to attend these meetings? Or are they strictly internal matters?

It's fine if a non belf turns up to listen, might even speak orcish.
