Bioshock Infinite is as good, if not better, than the original. The story is certainly a lot better because Bioshock dropped after the "Would you kindly?" twist.

Incredible game.

Sleeping dogs was great fun and the other two I've heard were brilliant as well. It's a shame more than anything else. Triple A gaming companies produce a lot of fucking good games.

Eidos/Square hasn't had anything to do with the Arkham games since co-publishing the first one tho, or was that supposed to be an allusion? Regardless, there's supposedly a new one coming this year.

French site Gameblog claims it has been told by a trusted source that Batman: Arkham Origins will launch this year, and will be revealed at this year’s E3 in June. It is said to launch on PS4 and Xbox 720.

Last month we saw the Batman Arkham City Facebook hub undergo an interesting change, Warner Bros. confirmed a new Batman game’s release this year during its last investor call, and it’s said to be a prequel set in the Silver Age.

I really don't see Square going bankrupt anytime soon though. Even if this sets them off the same slippery slope THQ went, it'd probably take a couple years.

It's not about mainstream, I don't give a shit about how "mainstream" a game is, or it's company. It's about attitude.
If that's the general attitude of a "triple A" company, then I don't really want to support it.

So no Star Wars 1313 game because Disney shut down Lucas Arts games development team. Some brilliant titles are now lost to our past. They tried to reassure gamers that they're building an internal games development team. Brilliant. Kiddy bullshit Star Wars games.

As for LucasArts, as a studio the last ten years they've been extremly avarage. Haven't done anything worth their nintiees reputation.

Star Wars 1313 looked great. It has just been revealed that it was the story of Boba Fett and how he became a Bounty Hunter (only revealed because it had to cease all production. This was going to be a big revelation!)

As for the last ten years being average... (they created/worked on all of these games)
- Tales of Monkey Island
- The remakes of Monkey Island 1&2
- Star Wars: Battlefront 1&2 (potentially best star wars games).
- Lego games (Star Wars/Indiana Jones)
- Star Wars: Empire at War
- Star Wars: Galatic Battlegrounds
- Force Unleashed 1 (though, granted, it was too short and the sequel was shit)
- Gladius
- Mercenaries.
- Star Wars: Republic Commando
- Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1& 2
- Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO

So no. The last 10ish years have produced some incredible games. It is an incredibly sad day for games development!

SWTOR was a mess, a cheap cash-grab and in most regards a shit game. But yeah, the rest of the games were brilliant. I don't get why people are saying LucasArts is bad.

Gladius and Mercenary I didn't look for to be honest. Not Galactic battlegrounds.

Force Unleeshed and Republic commando are the only games on that list MADE by LucasArts, the others are only published by them.
There's quite a differance.

Bioware will still be able to make Star Wars games if they get a license.

And Monkey Island 1 & 2 remakes. Counted as new games? Really?

Saying that LucasArts made most of those games, is like saying EA made Mass Effect 2.
