Got into a Mass Effect 3 MP game yesterday:

Went searching for a Quick Match with: Unknown place, Cerberus, Silver.
Ended up with: Unknown, Unknown, Silver.

I was basically just levelling my human lash adept from 10, and by that level, I really can handle silver difficulty. For good measure though, I added a rapid firing gun with cryo ammo to help me not get swarmed.

Then the host evidently changed difficulty to Gold, and I failed to notice before the game started.
The three other members of the group were all well geared level 20s, but we did get gunned down by the middle of wave six.

I'm not a Gold player, only been in 3 games on Gold total, I guess.... But I topped the fucking scoreboard bitches! I'M THE KING OF THE LOSERS! LONG LIVE ME!

I applied for Hawken, no luck yet though. It might be cool, but if it plays just like a normal FPS I'm not too interested. If it's mechy tho, hell yes.

I'd say it feels a bit hybridy. You certainly feel like you're piloting a mech but it's no simulator.

Somewhat disappointing tbh. The dialogue is dumbed-down quite a lot, and some emotional moments just weren't as emotional as they could've been but fuck, ME3 is awesome.

ME2 still best though <3

I may complete Mass Effect 3 eventually, but yeah, Rayman Origins looks pretty breath-taking, like one of the better kids-games since Mario64 and Ocarina of time, to be honest.

Bioshock is now also on the list. I've always meant to play it, but never got around to it.

I put in Bioshock having seen your latest post. Do KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Bioshock then the rest in whatever order. Those three game have some of my favorite storylines I've ever come across.

Go seeing this makes me wanna play KOTOR again, it's been so long. I never got around to playing number 2 for some reason, perhaps I should change that.

I borrowed The Darkness 2 (360) from my little brother the other day, finished it last night and have to say I was very disappointed in the game play. The story was fine, always been a small Darkness fan, but the game itself I found a bit meh. The only parts I really enjoyed (apart from when the Darkness talks to you) was the fact the Darkling was a little English yob and the part with the hospital. I thought they really let the side down with this one, esp since I really enjoyed the first, even if it was a little short.

I've also just finished Prototype 2. Fun game, you get to smash many, many things with large shiny arms. But is it just me or is it pretty much the first game only you play a black guy in a leather jacket with a hoodie instead of a white guy in a leather jacket with a hoodie?

KOTOR 2 isn't quite on the same level as it's predecessor, but it's more of the series, which is good and much needed, and the gameplay is somewhat improved (2 sets of weapons equipped, say to switch quickly from ranged to melee etc).

KotOR II is just as good, the problem is that LucasArts rushed Obsidian into releasing it early. They had to cut a lot of the ending content in order to meet the deadline. That has since been restored via mods. I recommend if you do play KotOR II to make sure to get the PC version and download the Restored Content Mod.
