I saw Bioshock in the pre-played section in the game store today, at a very decent price too, so sure, I bought it, but then it turns out that inside the cover....... the disc says "Bioshock 2". Now I don't know much about gaming, but you don't simply start with the sequel.

I lost over 2 hours of gameplay in Bioshock 2 due to my 360 randomly locking up on me last year. So far I still haven't gone back to it.

Also I tried out Stalker Online this morning. Not bad for a free game, though I'm still not 100% sure just how I feel about it yet.

On a side note if any of you have purchased "The" WarZ and are going into the Alpha/Beta, can you post up your thoughts on it? It seems like a more arcade-like DayZ style game. Despite their initial claims, from things they have said recently and if you simply look at it you can tell they are rushing it out on The War.inc engine using the same models and many of the same buildings and so on to capitalize on DayZ's success. But even so, there's no need to bitch and moan about it, I feel the competition over the semi-new genre will bring the best out in both games (hopefully).

Clear Sky was epic (if we leave out the constant crashing and corrupted save games...), I loved the feel of that game even if I never finished it. I'll have to give a free Stalker a go at some point, if I don't forget. Can you say anything about how similar Stalker Online is to the older games?

Sorry not a clue. Never played the older Stalker games, wasn't doing much PC gaming back then, it was mostly consoles with the odd PC title. Been getting back into Deus Ex: Human Revolution little now, since it's been over a year since I last played I'm mostly trying to work out what the hell had been going on.

I've played all the old stalker games, loved them, I have not played Stalker online however, but I have been told by my friend who is a complete Stalker fanboy that it sucks compared to the originals, just an opinion from a friend though, so I'd recommend making your own mind up and trying it yourself.

From the person who brought us Wing Commander and Freelancer, comes a whole new universe (hopefully).

A friend pointed me to this site a few weeks back now and yesterday we finally got some details on what he's planning. If he can pull this off, I may very well give up on RL and move there pertinently.

Yes, I borrowed Dishonored from a friend but when Kitt got home last night I was told I wasn't allowed to play it any more and that I was to give it him back. Why oh why did they have to release it 2 weeks before my birthday QQ

Also, after a couple times of getting absolutely demolished in Classic Ironman difficulty I decided to give Normal Ironman a spin. Just finished the campaign and have to say that even with Ironman it's complete easymode compared to Classic. Final mission included I lost a total of four soldiers during the whole campaign.

Oh well. Was all kinds of awesome nonetheless. Next time it's Classic. With vengeance. Because there is nothing quite like watching your soldiers scream in terror as they die to relentless plasma fire.

Seems Origin have a lovely little promo code out. Enter OS3874XVC and you can get yourself a free game woth $20 or less. It was given out at the end of a survey they did in the US and you can get one free game per account. Just make sure you enter a valid US address in the billing info for the game as the codes only valid in America.

Dayum, well I managed to get a free game out of it at least. Not sure when I'll ever play it with all the goodies coming out atm, but ah well, it's there. Tried out that XCOM today, not a bad little game, considering I have no clue what the hell I'm doing, it's pretty fun. Though I am dreading when my guy with the big tash dies, I've had him from the beginning Sad
