I doubt the forces of Ironforge can be counted as the 300, you are a neverending wave of booze, hair and fat. :<
The isle that the Cult defended, now that was 300!

Re: The Campaign in Khaz' Modan
Since I can already smell some flames and accusations coming my way, I advise everyone to read before they reply or judge.
The following rules were set prior to the fighting: RP gear, no corpse-running in mid-combat. I made sure to the very detail that none of the orcs were carrying any gear that went beyond level 71-ish. Even due to "popular demand" (more like complaints), I told our shaman not to pop Bloodlust immediately after charging in. However, following two battles in RP gear, there were a couple of flaws to be found in this. Several people on the Alliance side, naming and shaming aside, were donning level 80 gear. Some, even PvP gear. One rogue was even found wearing full PvE gear.
I requested these imbalances to be rectified. However, I then got to hear that the Alliance policy to bringing RP gear to WPvP events involves any gear - regardless of levels (even though the rules in previous RP-geared WPvP fights stated that lower-levelled gear is encouraged). Therefore, I told my raid that RP gear of any level is allowed. Lo and behold, they switch to their own RP gear. Result? I see dwarves running off and not partaking in the battle any more. I pressed my concern to the Alliance leader how this isn't going to work, and that we might as well switch to PvP gear. Apparently, the Alliance players were told, but refused to change because it was deemed "OOC" (or so I was told). Nevertheless, we were given the clear to charge, and things turned to a different end. It even went as far as to orcs charging into the town because many of the dwarves retreated back into it. After a quick run-through, however, the orcs were called out, and so we returned to the Badlands as to prevent any more drama.
Next thing I know, I hear Bloodwind is called in to "deal with it" and straggling lowbies are being corpsecamped (even though I didn't get to see anything of this Bloodwind matter myself, so whether this is true or not, I'll leave for debate). In other words, you could safely say this campaign has come to an end with this. The orcs have withdrawn to Kargath, and will be considering their objective completed - which was to deal a retaliation blow upon dwarven lands for the invasion made upon the Barrens months ago. Whatever the dwarves choose to RP with the outcome of the battle, I leave to them, but let's just say that if I hear talk of how our victories are counted as OOC because we used our level 80 gear as well, I could might as well say the first two dwarven victories were OOC as well.
There was hardly any drama on Horde, so I'm content.

Was true, i was requested to come over and join in the "OOC fight" but it was refused from the simple point of view there is no reason for me or any of my guild members to be present as we are not RP killers like Blacklisted and even if the fight is a OOC one, there is no place for us there.
PS: Sad to see things going down to this :l

This. Bloodwind was not present in this at any point. I think the guild leader has already contacted Koz and made that clear, since I'm drowning in work x_xGeldar wrote:Next thing I know, I hear Bloodwind is called in to "deal with it" and straggling lowbies are being corpsecamped (even though I didn't get to see anything of this Bloodwind matter myself, so whether this is true or not, I'll leave for debate).

Conclusion
"Although the Horde has been driven from Loch Modan it has left the township on Thelsamar in dissarray, it is clear that the preservation of their homeland has costed Khaz' Modan dearly, exhaused and battle-weary the two armies have disengaged from eachother and retreated to their own realms. As the menace of the Horde still hangs over the heads of Khaz' Modan, both sides know that the calmness wich now settles upon the fields of battle is only a calm before the next storm..."'
((Hold your horses, put away those torches and pitchforks. Yes, it didn't quite went as we expected it would, but this was mostly due to some misunderstandings on both sides. No the Orcs are not a bunch of OOC'ers, no the Dwarves are not a bunch of whiners. me and the officers of DRS met with those of ORB and talked the issue out and we blame no-one. I know some of you might be upset becouse it didn't go as planned, but if anyone comes here to flame or to name and shame, I'm gonna shoot you.))

Re: The Campaign in Khaz' Modan
Is that meant to be clam or calm?
I mean I can understand if its a clam I always associate storms with the sea in that sense. But I thought it was calm before the storm?
Joking Dorik no worries xD
I thought that the event went well for the time I was there and there didn't seem to be any problems at all. Was nice rping with you all, will speak again next time I am on.
For now its Uni, Fall Out 3 with a trickle of getting pissed of at BC2

Re: The Campaign in Khaz' Modan
seeing as the dust has settled and i feel marginally okay with putting this now...
Let it be noted that the red blade orc's, when rampaging through thelsemar did infact not lay a hand on any civilians, children or those who begged for mercy... instead merely pushing them aside they slaughtered any mountaineer, soldier or mercenery foolish enough to draw weapons on them. whats more, the red blades also planted a pike in the beer barrel atop the thelsemar inn, the pike had waving from it a large banner covered in Dwarven runes that read as follows:
"Taurajo is now avenged.
Let this be a lesson to those with no mercy.
see how we slay only soldiers.
see your wrong doing.
Learn Honour.
you brought this all on yourselves."
((sorry for not posting this sooner btw))
