Geldar and I are admins, but um, it's mostly just Geldar who can do proper shit, since I mainly joined to look after the library forum. I'll speak to her about that, too.

Saihna made it so that you can see more sections without having an account than before. If you add anymore, you will be probably able to see the entire forum so will have to see what she says about it before doing anything with it, she is the owner of this forum after all.

Unregistered people are now able to see the forum, save private group forums and library sections which the members have requested to keep visible only for members of the forum. People still need to register to be able to write and make topics. As members, please do spread the word of this if a newcomer asks you why they can not write on the forum. The more the word is spread the easier the process of applying to the forum it will be for new people.

Won't that clash with events etc? Now one can't advertise here without being ganked or somehow griefed?

Not to mention things like RL picture thread, fashion, etcetc blabla.

the whole point of allowing peeps to read was to promote more rp'ers to join us Razz

if all they see is general banter and trollness that happens in the general thread then that wont be much incentive to join Smile

seeing the events section thow yes opens up gangers posibilities.. but it also makes this forum fare more welcoming to new members of the rp community which i think prob outweight the possible ABoC risk

People have been harrassing RP events since forever. Making the forum public or keeping it private is not going to change the fact that there is ALWAYS someone who spreads the news to their OOCtard friends, accidentally or on purpose.

Aye screw being scared. Just spread dates+times for events ingame through a calendar or what ever. Imo we could use the publicity through opening this forum up and thumbs up it finally happened =)

Even though I agree that we shouldn't keep the forums hidden like Atlantis, we've already been infiltrated by A Bunch of Campers, Goon Squad, Shadow of Nine, the list goes on.

All Im saying is, that we have to be carefull with this and think about some consequences. No I can't spell cons-..whatever. Hush.
