I hear that the ministers discussing the possibility of joining the war in the north again. I wonder if it's revenge for that ghastly outbreak of plague in Redridge and Elwynn some weeks ago?

Trust me pal, keep off the Dwarven District... I've heard it's a bloody dangerous place, cutthroats everywhere!

I understand some of the Kirin Tor mages have been picking up traces of shadow magic usage in the past few weeks. I certainly wouldn't want to be whatever fool is practicing it when the mage-guard finds them out.

'Did you hear what the Guard found in the Mage Quarters?'
'Aye.. Two bodies, wasn't it? Thugs or something?'
'Got that one right, they were sliced up pretty badly. I swear, some lunatic is on the move here.'
'I hope not... We have enough of thieves and murderers in this city already. We really do not need another one...'

'Did you hear what happened to brother Sargus today?' The young woman said and looked at her mentor.
'I thought he was... under treatment?' The man frowned deeply.
'Yes.. he -was- under treatment.. He barged out of the cathedral today, quite.. violently. I heard he took a swing at brother Jussiah with a candleholder.' She bit her lower lip briefly, nibbling at it.
'So.. he has left the Cathedral?' The man narrowed his eyes, with concern, a sign of disappointment lingering behind his facade of no emotions.
'Well.. He is.. he is being prepared for funeral, sir. A man came here earlier, carrying Sargus with him. His throat was slit, he claim he found him near Mirror Lake, leaning against a tree.' A trembling sigh escaped her lips as she fought back the tears watering her eyes.
'I see... Let those tears out, child. Crying is not a sin.' The man smiled warmly, even though he too was saddened over the news. He embraced his apprentice in a most fatherly way and patted her back, as she sobbed silently against his chest.

Did you hear? The Minister of Magic interupted a Kirin Tor sanctioned experiment in Westfall and after she got back a bunch of Dalarani entered her office. I dunno what happened but there was a lot of shouting.

"You hear about that lad from the Blades? Skinny blonde mage kid, heard he got done in by thugs round the back of Miner's Street. Big old funeral down at the Cathedral Graveyard, the works. Heard there was some kind of brawl at the grave a couple of hours after-"

"Hah! That ain't half of it. Some buggers dug the kid's body up an' fucked about with it, dumped it back outside the Pig in Old Town. My cousin saw it get dumped. Ain't slept since. Said it only had one arm left, and that didn't have any fingers an' the muscles were all flayed apart. Legs all fucked up an broken, and the tabard...well. It was slit open all up the front, and my cousin swears blind the kid had been HOLLOWED OUT. No heart, no liver, kidneys...all carved out. Apart from the guts."

"The...the guts?"

"Aye. They kept them. Kept them to tie the tabard back on with."

"Bloody hell..."

Rather grimly, the two return to their drinks in silence.

Did you hear? That chaplain Emily Swordfall has been missing for some time now, however several people have claimed to have seen her in Duskwood. Though.. She was quite different, dark, if you know what I mean. Confused too, and she spoke open about how the light had betrayed her.

My my... Have you seen that knight from the Disciples of Light and his new found wealth?, Sir Omarosand I believe is the name he goes by. Recently returned from Northrend, but he hardly seems to have been bothered by being in the cold north. Quite the opposite...! Someone told me that some bandits in the dwarven square wanted him to pay road-toll and he paid for the entire order of disciples to pass freely easily!

I hear there are a lot of people celebrating for some reason, They all seem to yell the same thing "Long reign da Caliph!" They all have this same tattoo aswell! I think it reminded me of a ...scorpion.

Apparently that woman Ast, that Blade chick had more lovers than she could swap underwear within a week. I lost the count at who many as objected during that wedding. Shameful is what it is.

That is not all, not only did she sleep around with just about anyone, but the priest.. He must have been cheap. I have never heard a man studder out stuff in such a way. Makes one wonder where that chicks hands was.

That Lord Tarvik that married that noble silly woman, I hear that he is quite the lover. He even let his lover attend in their wedding.. And what is up with all these weddings these days anyways?

I hear that the Blade officer Humphry, I think it was, have like five lovers and a wife. Some worgen, some mage, some healer, some blonde chick and a guy too. How could I possibly forget the guy.. And I can't help but wonder who his wife is. She have got to be one seriously poor blind ruined chick.

A late night outside of the Pig and Whistle I swear I saw some woman sliding a man's throat. The odd thing is, he did not seem to mind.

I heard there was a gathering behind the Cathedral the otherday. A lot of evil looking dwarves, with some chapterians and what seemed to be a bunch of scholared people. I wonder what they were up to..

People have been speaking in dark corners about how the Dwarven District no longer will be on the map anymore. And this evening someone fired a canon towards that disctrict.. I think I need to move soon..

Did you hear that the Council's chairlady was up in the highlands with all those shady Blades for Hire mercenaries? I know the council says they represent the people and all, but it makes you wonder if there isn't something going on there...

Did you see those Gnomish Soldiers? Said they were tracking down a murderer, killed her own brother if you can believe that.

Word goes that the curiosity shop in Stormwind is back up and running after a few minor inconveniences. Perhaps you should seek out this 'Coris Finrick' for her services?

Heard that the Coris Fickick lass over at the 'curiosity shop' also offers fortune tellings and so on. Worth a shot?
