This rumour is mainly to be heard in either Darkshire, or in Duskwood generally.

Did you hear what happened in the clinic of Darkshire about midnight two days ago? High Inquisitor Regelius Renn - of the Chapter of Holy Anethion infiltrated the town, and assaulted a fair citizen, Feint even! It's said that he claimed for the poor man to be behind the murder of this Anethionean woman last week... Tsch... Them Anethioneans truly are a bunch of madmen, not as if their Duskwood "Crusade" will ever be forgiven in the first place! Renn escaped - luckily the assassination failed utterly...

Did you hear that the Lady Vale brought some foreigner into the Jewel of Dalaran? Oh no, no... I don't mean an attractive foreigner, it was some dark skinned girl who looked as if she would have been more at home tending sheep than serving fine wines. The stories, my dear! She actually told a client that she hoped... oh what was it... that her herds would be healthy? I can't -imagine- what the Lady Vale was thinking. Perhaps the girl is a bastard sister? One never knows.

Did you hear that the bartender lord from Old Town sneaks into Darkshire at night? Rumor has it that he has a romance with someone there, someone he does not dare to look at or show to anyone.. Someone actually told me that its most likely a walking dead of some kind and that the Lord himself brought her to life.. And that he is no bartender at all, he is hiding his dirty work and himself behind bottles of whiskey.. It is no suprise though after all, what Lord would bring himself so low as to bartending every night?

Hey, did you hear that the Lord of House Valthia died? its true! His widow has been all over the place now, as though she's finally been allowed free... I heard she organised something with the Council to send more troops, supplies, and priests to Duskwood! Shes even apparently applied to join a Council! Its about time we had someone capable there.. What a woman... shes got my vote.

Did you hear a civilian was going on a nightly stroll around the City and was heard shrieking all the way to the graveyard? Medics and the guards won't say anything, but there was quite the mess by fountain just west of the Cathedral itself. It's said that the body was found - a scorched corpse, unidentifiable. No wonder they kept the crowds out!

Did you hear that the guards in Duskwood, is slacking so hard that they witness murder without lifting a finger? These are truly dark times, in one evening there was a rogue uncontrolled worgen reacking of fel- magic causing chaos, an undead assassin on the loose that I hear slid quite some throats in the search for the leaders of the Chapter of not so Holy Anethion, they also let some form of group molest a tiny little dwarf, shopped him into bits and pieces and guess what they did with the remains? They used it to decorate their barn... Someone is abducting blonde women in the woods.. Guess all the dark haired ones are safe for now... Who will save the lost and cursed forest from all of this evil? And who will come to rescue its inhabitants? Only time can tell..When will all this madness come to and end? "

I heard that Baron Mistmantles bride to be disappeared just a week after the engagement party. Apparently her dead body was found in Elwynn forest a few dats and it wasn't in a pretty state.
