S02E07 Spoilers:
- Spoiler:
Indeed, the burned child corpses were kind of fucked up.
Clash Spoilers:
- Spoiler:
My memory may be faulty, but didn't Jon get captured by Wildlings after Rattleshirt made him kill Halfhand? It seems they're cutting that bit out, alongside Jojen and Meera, which is substantially more important...
- S02E07:
- Well, at least it's burnt child corpses, not FLAYED child corpses. That would be far worse.
- The CLash Spoliers (and this episode):
- Aye, Rattleshirt and co came on Jon and the Halfhand, and then the HALFHAND made Jon kill him, to let Jon live and get back to the wall. Curious of why they've changed it. Make's it intresting since I don't know what's going on.
As towards Meera and Jojen... I am intruiged but I'm guessing they'll manage to introduce them for next season.

BEST EPISODE TO DATE
- Spoiler:
- Ending was just ... GAAAH I WANT TO SEE THE NEXT EPISODE SO BADLY
And I LOVED Sursei's moment in the episode ... it was beautiful. And I'm kind of sick of the dragonlady now she's so annoying and her acting skills are so-so honestly, it's starting to get cheesy

Melnerag wrote:Shame that Karstarks are not in the show. In my opinion absence of Lord Karstark and his slain sons takes away a lot of -logic-, and conflict, from Jaime Lannister being in prison.
Same with Edmure Tully, Catelyn's father and battle of Stone Mill. It makes Cat lose some of the conflict her character goes through in the books. Lack of the battle of Stone Mill and Starks taking the Crag is not a -huge- loss, that scene has shown what a great strategist Robb is is. Which I think is important. But his gambit with sending 2k to die in order to lift the siege of Riverrun already has done that.
Also.....they did not add the two bogmen children to Winterfell. I am shocked. How will they ever be able to continue Bran's storyline without two characters that are -so- important to it? I suppose Osha wil take the role of being the mentor.
- Spoiler:
- Your Karstarks are in the show now!
- Spoiler:
- Also, got annoyed at how often Jon popped up in this episode. I want more Robb ffs! :< Jon lost his value when he forsake his family and stayed in the Night's Watch. And Daen is sooooo whiny.

The Tywin/Arya scenes are fast becoming my favorite bits of the Show. They're just so damn tense.

- I'm beginning to like Twyin a lot, Arya was always one of my favourites.
Daenerys has lost so much favour with me, I don't like her anymore.
Cersei has feelings omg.
I wanted Tyrion to give her a hug.

Don't think we need to speak in spoilers about the TV series the later books are good to leave behind spoilers for show people not to get angry.
Can't wait for EP9 though, Blackwater <3 I'm interested especially as G.R.R.M wrote the ep.

Dance Spoilers:
And indeed, can't wait for the House of the Undying and the Blackwater.
- Spoiler:
- Somehow, I think Ramsay Bolton (Snow*) is without a doubt the most cruel and villainous character so far. Worse than Joffrey, in his deeds, though I don't actually hate him as much as Joffrey. Mainly because Theon deserved all that flaying. Poor Jeyne Poole (I believe that's whom was pretending to be Arya), though.

Latest Episode spoilers
- Spoiler:
- Pretty pleased they rounded it off in a similar way to the books and in some ways made it more powerful. The ending with Bran and Rickon was done incredibly well. Anyone who is a watcher of the show and didn't know that they survive will get emotional on that bit!

- nice episode, I was hoping to see more of the fire bitch though
I think HBO is doing a pretty good job though of representing all the different characters and storylines on the show but sometimes I feel like we don't get to see too much of x character or y character because of how complicated? the story is

Question to those who have not read the books.
I know what is to come, so whenever I watch the series it feels like the story isn't moving forwards. Ever since the Ghost of Harrenhall (Ep5). Is it just me, or do you also feel like it is a bit too bogged up?

Re: The Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin
Me and the missus sat giggling over Skype when Bronn and Tyrion were arguing like teenagers. Was a great episode. Not many exciting things happened, but still left me in suspense for the next episode!
Tbh, they are already taking ~one hour episodes to follow the story of the books as much as they can. I havn't read the books, so I don't know if it's moving on in a fast pace or a slow pace.Melnerag wrote:Question to those who have not read the books.

Aye, books have a lot of story and even more details. I suppose the rapid switch of characters is a bit too much for me. I am more of a person who focuses deeply and stays focused instead of constantly switching. So might be my problem!

I'm actually the opposite. The style of switching characters is what makes GoT so appealing for me. I love finding out tiny bits of each character slowly at a time till you build up their complete story.Melnerag wrote:Aye, books have a lot of story and even more details. No House of the Undying yet... I swear, they're just trying to torture me by drawing out the scene until the final episode.

In the books the switch isn't so painful, but in the series its a bit too fast!
Btw: if you like GoT, try watching 'The Borgias' (2 seasons so far, one from 2011 and one playing now, 2012). Awesome series.
