About half way through Dreams and Dust, and I'm a bit confused why nobody balks at Rhaegar's Son (Young Griff) wanting to marry Daenerys. I know the Targaryens are into incest and all, but I find it a bit strange that -nobody- had any problems with the idea of him wedding his Nephew.
- Spoiler:
- Inbreeding is just the way the targaryens roll! Basically they want to keep the "blood of the dragon" pure.
Ceresei uses "pff Targaryans did it!" to defend her incest to Ned Stark during some dialoge in the first book.

On PirateBay DL link for Game of Thrones, there was a comment. It was from a guy that had watched it. He was like "Great episode, though I didn't like.." I just stopped reading there and was like "NOPENOPENOPENOPE" and alt+f4'd

- Spoiler:
- I do have to say it feels like Arya wasted one of her "kills" on that Lord fellow. Had she just been more careful and clever with that note she'd have had another kill to her disposal.
And is she even going to use the last kill on Tywin?! She fuckin' better! :'<

Re: The Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin
Mix of Show and Books, so those who haven't read should read at own risk. (I haven't read either, but picked this up on HBO's GoT site.)
- Spoiler:
- I've seen somewhere on an official HBO GoT site, with a map, about the different houses. And there's a House in the North, that loves skinning people. They've got a long grudge with the Stark family. It's even said they might even have ancient Stark members hides in their castle.
After the latest episode, I started speculating. If the head of this said house sends his son and men to retake Winterfell from Greyjoy.. Isn't it likely that they instead claim it for themselves, too? Due to this grudge?

- Spoiler:
- Telling you ANY more about the Boltons (or the Karstarks etc) would bugger the show and books.
So it's not really possible to answer, safely.

I'm just speculating, hoping someone in my own seat (who hasn't read that much) had the same thoughts occur to them. But I figured they must have some weight since they got introduced more in this season.

Shame that Karstarks are not in the show. In my opinion absence of Lord Karstark and his slain sons takes away a lot of -logic-, and conflict, from Jaime Lannister being in prison.
Same with Edmure Tully, Catelyn's father and battle of Stone Mill. It makes Cat lose some of the conflict her character goes through in the books. Lack of the battle of Stone Mill and Starks taking the Crag is not a -huge- loss, that scene has shown what a great strategist Robb is is. Which I think is important. But his gambit with sending 2k to die in order to lift the siege of Riverrun already has done that.
Also.....they did not add the two bogmen children to Winterfell. I am shocked. How will they ever be able to continue Bran's storyline without two characters that are -so- important to it? I suppose Osha wil take the role of being the mentor.

Re: The Song of Ice and Fire - George R.R. Martin
- Spoiler:
- There's a few things I am unsure of how changed will pan out, or people assuming traits or mixed identities...
As for Jojen and Meera... they HAVE to be in the show at some point... well, if the show is planned to run and run (as the books do).
It'd be like the Frey's not being in any more. How would the RW happen?!
The Reeds could be changed or brought in later, but both characters are important to Bran's journey - both physical and magical (and Howland Reed is pretty much the only one to know the truth of the Tower - of Lyanna and Rhaegar (and Jon?!)).

Oh god. The new Game of Thrones episode. Don't watch the end. It's the most repulsing and disgusting thing I've ever seen in the history of television. I warned you lot. Don't watch it.

If anything you shouldn't watch the new episode because it'll leave you wanting to watch the next episode so strongly that you might just perish.
Proceed with caution.

I almost always wait till an entire season of a series is done so I can watch multiple episodes in a row so I'm never left wanting more like this. If anything I should've done that with THIS show, since it's literally more addicting than any narcotic substance I've ever tried. And I've tried a big chunk of them.

- My memory may be faulty, but didn't Jon get captured by Wildlings after Rattleshirt made him kill Halfhand? It seems they're cutting that bit out, alongside Jojen and Meera, which is substantially more important...
