If you quit RPing on this server, why are you still on these bloody forums, eh buddy?
P.S. Anime, Warhammer, Butterflies, Drawing or shameless fap - I dun care what your hobbies are; And if you're feeling butthurt enough to post HATE HATE HATE at my joke cracking - that just proves how right I am. xD

I love how you can't think up an intelligent response so you just bring up issues irrelevant to the discussion at hand.

Right, again. Stop with the personal insults, and I suggest people take a long, hard look at themselves before they start going "OMG, LOL. UR HOBBY IS GAY" (especially fans of warhammer lololol).
Because quite seriously, you all must realise that this is getting idiotic.

LOL anime is gay especially when its warhammer anime. If you like cartoons so much, why dont you go watch quality like looney toons or pokemon instead of anime

"Milk instead of Milk" argument is valid. xD
In all seriousness though, I still think anime isn't made for out-of-japan mind. Sure, there are some good ones but... Well... They just don't feel right to me. The retarded fighting I use as an example MAY get awesome at times... But, again, if the series have nothing else to offer - Sorry, Artists, your work has been ruined by the writers and lost everything it can hook me up with. Next!

Warhammer was a trend, and still is a trend. Sorry to burst your tiny bubble, but Warhammer is for people who admire the Warhammer style, obviously, not necessarily intelligent people. I, for one, know a few Warhammer geeks whom simply just fail at everything else than Warhammer when it comes to general knowledge. Intelligent people? No. Geeks? Yes. Warhammer is a trend, some like it, others think it's unoriginal. Deal with it.Grugni Thunderforge wrote:My friend...original and genuine hobbies are often not so popular because they are ment for the more intelligent people, who are not feeding on the trashy popculture trends.

I could never understand the whole 'glue parts of puppets together and paint them -- by the way, this plastic costs 20 bucks a box lol -- and place them on the table and roll with dice or whatever' either.
But yeah, no need to bash hobbies. But you can make fun of certain aspects of them if its harmless imo (and yeah, the whole 'fags' and 'this is gay' thing, is crossing that line in my opinion; gays are way cooler than warhammer nerds, but that aside). But anyway, let's get this back on topic.

I hear you.
http://www.metro.co.uk/weird/816601-man-marries-pillow
- Spoiler:
- Lee Jin-gyu fell for his 'dakimakura' - a kind of large, huggable pillow from Japan, often with a picture of a popular anime character printed on the side.
In Lee's case, his beloved pillow has an image of Fate Testarossa, from the 'magical girl' anime series Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha.
Now the 28-year-old otaku (a Japanese term that roughly translates to somewhere between 'obsessive' and 'nerd') has wed the pillow in a special ceremony, after fitting it out with a wedding dress for the service in front of a local priest. Their nuptials were eagerly chronicled by the local media.
'He is completely obsessed with this pillow and takes it everywhere,' said one friend.
'They go out to the park or the funfair where it will go on all the rides with him. Then when he goes out to eat he takes it with him and it gets its own seat and its own meal,' they added.
The pillow marriage is not the first similarly-themed unusual marriage in recent times - it comes after a Japanese otaku married his virtual girlfriend Nene Anegasaki, a character who only exists in the Nintendo DS game Love Plus, last November.

I think I have a vague idea how he deflowered that pillow. And it's burning an image into my skull.

Love isnt it? Point is; Every hobby should be taken lightly as a source of fun, its people like that taking it too far which brings a bad image to the hobby itself and leads to bashing.Gnash wrote:I think I have a vague idea how he deflowered that pillow. And it's burning an image into my skull.

Re: [ANIME] A topic for anime discussion
That's the thing. No hobby but anime sparks this behaviour
All fun aside. I watched a few anime in my life. Some are good, most are bad. Just like regular series.
