I have to poke in as I have seen all of Elfen lied but eh...APart from a 7 minute of mass murdering entry to that series...It's not that bad? Not even the seven minutes of killing was. I just thought "Heh, ok". I've seen more intense stuff that would scar one in children tv programs.

Elfen Lied is really awesome, I actually watched it when I was 15 and there's a lot of deep stuff in that anime, the war between the man and the beast inside each one and so on, it's really awesome

Just discovered my favorite naruto episode whilst watching some I skipped.

Naruto's always been on top of Bleach for me. Even if both of them are very hit and miss at times and it's rather annoying.

However, <3 to you for liking Shikamaru. He's by far my favourite character.

I'd loved him since they introduced him. ...Miss his old jacket though. Always have and always will love that technique though. Unique enough without being Lololfaceroll.

Watch School Days, it has the most unbelievable plot twist ever seen. Although it basically sucks, and is one of those school romance story shits that you see a lot. But in the end it turns into tragedy horror.

That makes it too much of a spoiler tbh. But yeah, it's pretty good. Fairly cool character development in it too.

Out of interest, what did people think of Hellsing? Since it's one of my favourite animes of all time. The reason I ask is because it's the one anime that I really preferred over it's manga.

Hellsing is oh so lovely, the first anime/try got a bit weird in the end but had such an awesome soundtrack.

OVA 8 can't come soon enough.

I personally didn't like the Ova's that much and haven't watched them but the anime sure was great :]

Speaking of Lelouch. Code Geass was a fairly amusing show despite getting "haha, oh wow"- ridiculous towards the end. Despite that I found it good enough to warrant a fairly recent rewatch.

The ending is what made it so good anyway. Yeah I watched all of Code Geass too.

Yeah thats my list. I tried naruto/bleach too trying to understand this "hype"....Needless to say I gouged my eyes out faster than a killing spree rogue would.

Though I am up for the idea of the fact I am super terribly bored right now. I will open my mind for another anime series to watch for this rare occassion. Any advice welcome. Want something with some action, not overly cheesy and please I don't want any of that childish anime features like the watery eyes/over the top facial expressions etc. No idea what they're officially called.

Oh and some intelligent side to it as in a brain game sorta scenario like Death-Note. Just a plus.

Outlaw Star is one of my favourites.

My most favourite episode, despite the content, was the one where they went to the hot springs.

It was the guy with the claws chasing Gene that got me x)

i'm not a huge anime fan but Cowboy Bebop and GITS have been two series I've had an interest in (even if it's only seeing random episodes)

The thing I like about GITS is although the plot is far less clever than it thinks it is there IS a hot lady jumping around with machine-guns. Also the exestential nonsense is always quite interesting too. Is the whole series worth watching though? (thinking of seeing SA complex)

Was my first too. I was so young when it was airing on Toonami I think it was. Used to watch it everynight. Where my original warlock's name Melfeena came from. Those caster guns were wicked.

Because of Anime I basically forced myself to stop learning Japanese, my class was just in it for the Anime part and not actually in it for the japanese culture and history like I was (Samurai's and the Hiroshima bombings have always been a interest of mine in japanese history), also I just feel as it's been pointed out that Anime is over the top weird MOST not all of the time, also Hentai makes me sick and the people who dress up like characters and fail ruin it for me too; that's my reason for hating Anime.

Everything has two sides, Anime has that ridiculous fandom but is that a reason for you to hate it? I like anime, not a huge sick lover of it though and there's plenty I love much more in Japan, the whole culture and society than anime. still I could be in a class with fangirls/boys and get over it o_O I'm into anime events and some cultural events and I don't see why attending a part of the Japanese culture would mean dropping the other one, that's just elitist crap <_<


Oh and Ovelia, you've seen some episodes of Romeo x Juliet, please don't go further D: It's just horrible. a Failed crossover between a twisted version of shakespear's work and some weird very strange final fantasy in it o_O It fails at failing. Really.

Also, I've not seen aaaall the pages but one of my favorite Animes that often comes very underrated wasn't talked about yet!? How come no One Piece reference yet? It's giant I know but it's very very worth it, it's a deep anime that mixes the pirate lore and a true epic feeling of companionship, friendship and awesomeness that I've never seen in any other anime. Plus it has some awesome comedy inside it's a pure win :] (shoo OP haters, quit aiming your snipers at me nao!)
