- OOC info:
- The Chancellor (usually) writes a report at the weekly meeting and copies of them will be kept in the library in Ironforge, so that everyone can access them.
Thus far they have been posted in the Clans of Khaz Modan forums only, but from now on they shall be posted here as well. Old reports of the post-hiatus senate can be found here.
Re: •IC• Report Archives
Not all reports are available to be read, due to some documents not have been returned to the Library of Ironforge. Due to these losses, the reports will be restricted from being borrowed or brought outside of the Library. Not adhering to this rule will count as commiting Burglary according to the "Offences against Property Act", resulting in a onehundred gold fine and five days in jail, unless the scroll be returned before the sentence is done.

Senate starting as usual at 20.00.
Seat of Trade Boozeboat reports that the dwarven festivities are at an end, thus us being able to save a coin on decorations and preparations of said events.
Seat of Magic Farfield mentions that we still need to come to a consensus on the topic of the lawbook. We will devote our energy to that as soon as possible.
Seat of Exploration Slatehammer inquires among the audience regarding her expeditions that she be in need of adventurous people who can carry a bit when needed. Also asking them to hand in whatever relics or mysterious items they might have found on their travels, should they be interested in doing so. The expeditions be in need of those able to sneak and fight well, as the next expedition will be heading into troll-infested lands.
A Dwarven visitor speaks up with a proposition to attack a Horde capital city. While deemed mad at first for thinking such, some ideas are discussed to get something going.
Seat of Arms Lightbang mentions that he got some inventions ready that might be of interest for the Seat of War Iceaxe. Some device to knock enemies down to make them easier for capture is one of those.
Seat of War Iceaxe is reporting that a date has been set for a recon mission into Kalimdor. Aiming for the 10th of January to be over there and do some reconnaissance.
After the reports, the word got free. The first one to say something was Edwin Manaspark, who said that we should hurry up and appoint a Senator-Ambassador. Then he started rambling about House of Yore gaining influence enough to depose King Varian Wrynn, and we deemed his talk madness. Not only is Wrynn king of Stormwind, but also the High King of the Alliance. The rest of the Alliance would not stand and watch as the House of Yore deposed of the king.
As noone else had anything to say, we called it a night and ended the meeting at 20.48. May the Titans guide us all.

Seat of Exploration Slatehammer mentions that her expedition team has made camp in the northern part of Stranglethorn Vale, but that's about as far as they have managed to get to for now.
Seat of Arms Lightbang reports that there be a lack of resources, as the need for those in Draenor to battle the Fel Horde far exceeds the supplies we have. Mainly lumber and iron seem to be needed.
Seat of Trade Boozeboat has nothing to report.
After the reports, the word got free. Edwin Manaspark was the first to ramble on about 'closer to home' threats, thus we should increase the number of guards.
A robed human male wished to know what the citizens of Khaz Modan rever (aside from ale), and he got a satisfying response.

Seat of Magic Farfield has the following to report:
The Wildhammers have sent in an urgent request for help in the Twilight Highlands to handle magical anomalies. An explosion was heard from their revered top of Thunderstrike Mountain, and now the surrounding area is under an "arcane induced thunderstorm", which sounds rather horrible. The probable cause behind this seem to be a direct hit upon one of the magical leylines around the world, of which one happen to be under the Highlands, thus causing the unnatural weather phenomena. The Wildhammers are temporarily grounded while this goes on.
4 deaths has been reported already, and there be reports elsewhere about similiar breaches around the world, spewing magical energies out into the surrounding areas causing mayhem! For this matter an expedition is called upon to investigate the matter, and volunteers are needed with a variety of skills to help solve this mystery.
Seat of Exploration Slatehammer reports the following:
The plans for an auction to further fund expeditions for the Explorers Leage are well underway, many items has been donated thus far, and they will be setting up shop on tuesday evening in Stormwind.
She also mentions that her assistant, Frostnimble, is preparing an event for the "Love is in the Air" event that is coming along in the following week or so, with many activities to do, as well as plenty of food and drink to be had.
Seat of Arms Lightbang has nothing new to report.
Seat of Trade Boozeboat has nothing to report, but mentions a monthly contest to bring forth the top three products on a regular basis, the short being TTTMO TTMPO ANNOYING to write!
The top three products this time were:
Third place: Yurple, a new colour that resembles brown to such degree that it might just be copied.
Second place: Naga-shaped lemon-holder.
First place: Hourglass salt-shaker.
Then the word got free, and Edwin Manaspark was the first to raise the topic about donations toward the explorers League, to which Senator Slatehammer agreed to discuss with him at some other point of time.
Question arose regarding a pirate attack in Wetlands against Greenwarden's Grove, questions that got answered briefly as not much was mentioned in the report I got from the guards stationed there.

Seat of Magic Farfield reports that he's preparing a caravan with needed supplies to Twilight Highlands to distribute among the Wildhammers. He is in need of more volunteers to escort and guide the caravan though. The plan be to move the caravan and pick up more supplies along the way, within ten days time.
Senator-assistant Frostnimble is standing in for the Seat of Exploration Slatehammer, who is currently ill. She is reading up that the auction went well, and that much money was raised. They now have enough money for their next exploration project!
Seat of Arms Lightbang report that one of his workshops alarmsystem went off in the south, and that he is going to form a party to investigate the matter soon. No cause for panic, just investigating. It could be a rogue invention, or worse, but that is why they need to investigate.
Seat of Trade Boozeboat have some issues with the auction held by Slatehammer not being held in Ironforge, thus the city losing income from taxation and regular business. Senator Farfield and Senator-assistant Frostnimble both pointed out that the food and drink was all donated for the cause of the auction, thus no loss of income there.

Seat of Arms Lightbang had nothing to report yet.
Seat of Trade Boozeboat reports that there has been complaints about counterfeit coinage in the city, seemingly chocolate coins has been discovered to be used as payment for things at the shops, and nobody noticed the fact that they bend rather easily after a while as they melt. This be of great concern to the economy and the treasury however, and the word will be spread to the shopkeepers to keep an eye open for these coins.

I started with an announcement from senator Farfield, who is currently attempting to seal the magical breach in Twilight Highlands. He requires more aid with that task however to be any efficient. A report will follow later on.
Senator Lightbang has investigated further the interruption of his workshops, which seem to be caused by some of the inventions acting strange, as if they have a collective mind. Sabotage is one of the suspicions on the list, which means someone with a purpose is behind this. Might require a bigger group than a small investigative party.
Senator Boozeboat reports that the numbers hasn't come in yet for the latest TTTMO (why am I bothering?) event, thus not much to report on that matter. A misprinted coin has been found, traced back to the coinage crafting a flawed one. The error has been handled.
After the reports, the word got free, and the first one to raise a topic was a dwarf male who got unsettling news regarding the missing Seat of War Iceaxe. He's admitting to be part of kidnapping the senator, and that he's willing to hand him back for money. The ransom originally started out at 100 gold, but negotiations has managed to lower the sum to a more reasonable amount. Then senator Boozeboat decided to mention torture to get the intel needed, thus the kidnapper legged it. The guards managed to capture the dwarf, but he later on admitted that he was merely a hired messenger for a orc mercenary band, and not really the brain behind it. He unveiled the whereabouts of the senator, and a rescue operation will take place.
The next petitioner, titled and named Thane Trejvor Mantabe merely wished to watch over the Senate, to make certain it be safe and secure from any threats. The senators thanked him for that, and later on concluded the meeting at 20.55 local Ironforge time.

Seat of Magic begins to report that the rift in Twilight Highland has been sealed, for now, with the aid of the Kirin Tor as noone else came to assist him from any other order. This will be heard about in a future Alliance meeting, rest assured! Several of the graves of past Wildhammer Dwarves has been disrupted or destroyed by this rift and its aftermath, which can cause diplomatic issues with them as such.
Seat of Treasury reports that no new items has been accepted through the TTTMPO not going to bother typing it henceforth. This means no increased income from commerce for said items.
Seat of War reports nothing, aside from the fact that he has been captive at a crazed murloc mage that wanted to use him as a sacrifice. Seemingly it all started out when he was to do an inspection tour through the Wetlands, and he got grabbed by an orcish mercenary band. They later on handed him over to the crazed murloc, in whose 'care' he'd been for roughly a month before he got freed by a brave band of adventurers.
After those reports, the word now got free, and the first to raise a topic is the slightly crazed Gilnean that wanted to ask where the Seat of Exploration and Arms might be at. The Senate answered his question and we moved along to conclude the meeting.

I started by reading up a letter from sir Blackstone, whom asked of the people of Khaz Modan to help fund a tournament ground in Dun Morogh. He thinks the location would be suitable for such a thing, and that it would make the Alliance as a whole to gather together in good spirits. However, the cost would be steep even for a few rich dwarves and citizens, threehundred and twentyfive gold to be precise, thus the cost need to be spread out a bit.
After that we got to the reports, of which Senator Boozeboat quite happily proclaimed that she had just saved the treasury 325 gold from being wasted in her point of view. She did NOT like the content of the letter, nor the asking for gold it entailed.
Senator Lightbang reports that there has been radio silence from the rogue workshop, however the other shops are making up for it with increased productivity, thanks to some newly found resources. Good thinking on that department.
Some of the public wished to be part of the donators, and the Senate thanked them accordingly as their support is vital toward the tournament project. She also reports that we still need some dummy-makers and a caterer for the Diplomatic Gathering coming soon. No date has been set for it yet however. She also have a need for an employee at the new embassy in Stormwind. She also informs that there's a new Gnomish rights activist group called Meritocratic Assemblage of Gnomish Ingenuity, and that they will be meeting at the new embassy on Saturday at the eight bell in the evening.
After the reports, the word got free. The first one to raise a topic was Ambassador Felha, who surprisingly applied for the Seat of Order. She speaks about honesty and to provide order to the nation, but the Seat of Order is more than laws, it be the leader of the Dwarven warmachine as well. When asked for battle experience, no clear response was provided until much later in the evening. Satisfied with the long awaited response, we went along with the vote.
With a total unison in favour of Aye, we got ourselves a new Seat of Order! With that said and done, we concluded the meeting as the Great Horn sounded for the ninth time in the evening.
Meeting ended at 21.00 Ironforge time. May the Titans bless our choices and continue to guide us.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 19th of May by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Farfield
Senator Felha
Senator Lightbang
Senator Boozeboat
Senate start per schedule at 20.00 Ironforge time.
Seat of Occult has nothing to report, but mentions that senator Boozeboat might have something of note.
Seeing as this be important, we skipped the normal procedure and headed straight for her topic. Senator Boozeboat reports that the senators have been meeting with the Ninth Company. She also mentions that the dwarven embassy has been given to a barmaid instead of our ambassadors. Exact reasoning as to why will be explained later.
Senator Felha reports that the Ninth Company is running an operation up north in Arathi Highlands during these last few weeks. Seemingly the battle isn't going overly well, thus manpower and supplies has been offered and accepted to the Company. It be a matter of logistics now, of which senator Felha and senator Lightbang will work together to solve.
Senator Lightbang replies that he's going to make certain that the troops will be well-supplied. He also reports that while the battles haven't been overly successful, sir Blackstone has managed to ward of several attacks from the barricades. This be both good and bad news, as the Horde might send reinforcements down to counter this unexpected resistance.
Senator Felha wish to report that she has managed to get an assistant for her job, Steyen Duskblade, a human death knight. Having a such as tactical advisor might prove interesting, to say the very least.
Senator Farfield wishes to mention something before the word get free. It would seem that the target dummies are finished and ready for pickup, to be used at the coming diplomatic gathering.
Now that we've got those reports out of the way, it be time to deal with the Stormwind embassy issue. Lord Maelmoor Lightbringer himself visited the Senate to try and explain this matter, while we bombarded him with questions and hard words regarding this whole affair. He suggested getting our old embassy back, but we weren't too exalted with the idea of that location. He will do what he can with an investigation of suitable locations for an embassy however.
After that debate, the word got free, but none wished to speak, so we concluded the meeting after roughly one hour and five minutes. May the Titans continue to guide our paths.

Written on the 26th of May by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Farfield
Senator Felha
Senator Lightbang
Senator Boozeboat
Senate starting as usual at 20.00 Ironforge time.
Seat of Occult reports that the target dummies required for the sharpshooter contest during the diplomatic gathering are assembled and gathered in his home for the time being, the targets are depicted as a variety of wildlife common in the Dun Morogh region. A cook is still required though for the gathering, still looking for one near and far.
Seat of Order had nothing to report.
Seat of Transactions mentions that he's been discussing with Senator Felha regarding the Arathi situation, about troops and supplies and means of transport. A caravan will be sent up soon, but it'll be vulnerable to hostile attacks with our forces abroad. Thus he asks for any volunteers to help guard the cargo. When enough guards has assembled, the caravan moves out.
Seat of Relations mentions that Lord Lightbringer has yet to come up with any suitable locations for an embassy in Stormwind.
With the reports handled, we returned to the question of a chef for the diplomatic gathering. Senator Felha will look into that matter, as she mentions that she might know someone who can help out.
A delegation from the Ninth Company showed up, reporting the loss of sir Aramal Blackstone. This loss means they are hereby withdrawing from the Arathi Highlands to compensate their losses. What it means for border security of Khaz Modan is an entirely different matter.
After that, the word got free, but since nobody chose to speak, we concluded the meeting after thirtyseven minutes.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 2nd of June by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Felha
Senator Boozeboat
Senate starting at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Seat of Order begins her report about the retreat of the Ninth Company from the Arathi Highlands, thus we won't be sending any troops or supplies up north anymore. While it be quiet now, caution is adviced as you travel through the area.
Her assistant, Steyen Duskblade, reports about a rogue magic-using group called the Azure Flame and that they believe his allegiance are with them.
Senator Boozeboat reports that no progress has been made regarding the Stormwind embassy, nor the chef issue for the Diplomatic Gathering.
Moving along to the free word, the first visitor to raise a topic be a male dwarf inquiring about the Seat of Artifacts. His interest in this position will lead on to an application for it, and he mentioned some interesting discoveries regarding various digsites, even those of the Twilights Hammer. He will return later on after proving himself worthy of the Seat.
The next petitioner wonders why we have an undead in our midst (Steyen Duskblade), and we replied with that he's got more battle experience and tactical intel fighting for more than just one army. I'll put down a note about her behaviour, for future references.
After that, the Senate concluded at 20.35 Ironforge time. Titans guide our steps.

Attendance list:

Senate started at three minutes past eight o'clock.
Felha had nothing to report.
Gripgrap told that a white dwarf has accepted to supply arms and armour to the Senate, and that he will be paid based on quantity and quality.
Webbles was still waiting to hear from the Stormwind Minister of Affairs.
Conveniently, he is here and has news.
The Embassy Regulations are making things difficult, but the building used by the Ironforge Mining Company was suggested as a temporary replacement. The Ambassador agreed to use it.
The Senate meeting concluded after twenty minutes.

Senate started two minutes past eight o'clock
Felha has received reports of Orc raider and bandit attacks within the Wetlands, some have suffered injuries but no deaths as of yet.
Assistant Duskblade mentions a penal legion within Stormwind, wants to discuss the possibility of criminals reducing their sentances through military service. Debate arose from this however Senator Farfield called for it to be discussed another time when Chancellor Blackforge is present in order for him to give his say.
Senator Lightbang comes forth with complaints from men serving as artillery soldiers on the effectiveness of current in-service equipment and claims Dark Irons within Searing Gorge have blueprints that depict a much more advanced morter. Felha mentions Li-wei and James Corfast as people skilled and capable of stealing the blueprints. Senator Farfield voices his opposition and requests that a diplomatic party be sent first to attempt to receive these blueprints in a more peaceful manner.
Webbles announces the set time and date for the diplomatic gathering taking place in Thelsamar 25th day of the month at five bells (5pm server time). the event includes a sharpshooting contest and food and drink provided. Dress code is "Strawberry Summer"
Meeting was then turned over to the public to have their say, One Dwarf spoke of an old legend or myth claiming that a titan lies beneth Tirisfal Glades and wants to lead an expedition in order to search for artifacts, naturally the senators present voiced their issues with this idea and denied any support to be provided. The same Dwarf wanted to be accepted for the Seat of Artifacts if he could bring back something and continued to campaign for the position to which the senate rejected the notion and gave advice on how to apply for the position in the future. If presented properly he will be reviewed for the position in the future.

Senate starting as scheduled at 20.00 Ironforge time.
Seat of Occult want to remind people of a topic mentioned last session:
The Diplomatic Gathering with Lord Lightbringer as host will be held in Thelsamar, in the afternoon. Food, drinks and sharpshooting contest will be available for the attendants.
Seat of Order reports of raiders in the Wetlands, that seemingly have vanished for the time being. We currently do not know if they be hiding or have moved along to another area to avoid detection. Scouts have been sent out to try locate the marauders. They will be found and brought to justice, no matter where they are.
Seat of Transactions reports the following:
He has done some research, and have found out that the Dark iron clan have some schematics that could enhance our artillery. The bad news be, it be in the hands of a group of Dark Iron that didn't follow Moira. An envoy will be sent to treat with those dwarves. Discussions flew back and forth regarding the size of the group, whom to go and so on.
Seat of Relations also reminds about the diplomatic gathering on saturday afternoon.

Senate start per schedule at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Seat of Occult begin reporting that the Diplomatic Gathering was succesful in its purpose, even if the only ones attending were the organizations within the kingdom of Khaz Modan, and none outside it. It did strenghten the bonds between the organizations, so it was a good call.
Seat of Order notify us that there are unconfirmed reports about the raiders that were in the Wetlands some weeks ago, now sighted in Arathi Highlands. It be unclear what forces we have available, as the closest outposts there be Aerie Peal and Dun Modr.
Seat of Transactions reports that he intend to travel to the Dark Iron territory tonight, with as many senators as possible. Comments arose immedietly regarding the late hour of his suggested trip, but he is confident that we'll be able to handle come what may.
Seat of Relations has nothing to report.
The word now got free, and the first to raise a topic was a draenei death knight, representing the Ninth Company, with some weird story about their retreat from Arathi into the Eastern Plaguelands. It didn't make much sense to us, thus we disregarded them as quickly as we could.
The next one to raise a topic was a male dwarf, who applies for the Seat of Artifacts. Throughout an intense inquiry he answered our questions, and thus we called for a vote for his entry. Thus far he got total unison in the votes to accept his application, and he is now our latest Seat of Artifacts.
We concluded the meeting after the interview, the meeting laster for sixty-five minutes. We are all pleased with the outcome, and hope that the Titans keep guide our hand in the future as well.

Attendance list:
Senator Farfield

Assistant Duskblade
Senator Stormpike
Senator Boozeboat
Senate start per schedule at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Seat of Occult begin his report by mentioning that there has been a deal with the Dark Iron clan holding the specific schematics, at the cost of some gold and the teaching of basic magic to some of the men in the camp.
Seat of Order reports that there has been no more news regarding the raiders last spotted in Arathi Highlands, but advice caution if heading through the area nonetheless.
Assistant Duskblade asked to be heard, as he had something to mention regarding the Dark Iron deal. As part of said deal, he offered to re-compose their troop system to heighten their efficiency.
Seat of Relations was criticizing the idea of strenghtening that clans military, but settled down after a bit. She reports however that she has started to work together with the House of Nobles to cooperate when planning future celebrations. She also mentions that Lord Lightbringer will come to visit Ironforge 'soon' on a diplomatic errand.
Seat of Artifacts reports that he's been busy with planning expeditions mostly, but he has been on a trip to Feralas to retrieve a powerful artifact that caused unrest in the spirits around the area. A trip to Pandaria will commence in the upcoming weeks.
Seat of Relations criticize the ideas that got brought up by Seat of Artifacts, as diplomacy and making deals are part of her and Seat of Transactions jobs.
Seat of Artifacts retorted with that those seats ought to take interest in the mission instead of scolding him for it. He also intend to ask around for artifacts and leads to the Titans presence on that continent.
Nevertheless, we moved along with the meeting and the word got free. The first one to raise a topic was a loony asking about the yearly brick consumption of Ironforge. Needless to say, we didn't take him seriously and he eventually lead himself out.

I began with a notification from our Seat of Artifacts, that stated that he cannot attend tonight due to financial paperwork. After that we got on with the reports.
Senator Farfield reported that the deal with the Mountain-Lord Rendan and his band of Dark Iron is going along as planned even if it takes a bit of time to get all the materials organized. The Dark Irons are reported as being impatient to get their end of the bargain handled however, they threatened to blow up Senator Lightbang if we did not hurry up with our part. Senator Lightbang requested that we do put some haste into things, and Senator Farfield replied that if they want to blow themselves up by rushing things, they can be his guests.
We moved along with the reports, but none of the other senators had anything to mention. As there were next to no visitors either, no topics were raised either, thus we concluded the meeting at 20.18. Titans guide our path.

Attendance list:
Senator Farfield
Senator Felha
Assistant Duskblade
Senator Lightbang
Senator Boozeboat
Senate start per schedule at 20.00 local Ironforge time.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 21st if July by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Farfield
Senator Felha
Senator Lightbang
Senator Stormpike
Senate start as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Senator Farfield (Seat of Occult) reports that the supplies to the Dark Iron lord Rendan and his followers are ready to be transported to the Gorge. He asked me to come along for the delivery of the goods, as he has some slight... diplomatic issues handling the mountain-lord.
Senator Felha (Seat of Order) has nothing to add to the report.
Senator Lightbang (Seat of Transactions) reports that it has been unusually quiet lately, but he's going to take advantage of this peace and develop new schematics. Those with promising schematics are welcome to sell them to him, as he pays an adequate sum for each one.
Senator Boozeboat (Seat of Relations) indicated that there has been some architectural change in Stormwind.
Senator Stormpike (Seat of Artifacts) reports that something has been eating away at his budget, and he has yet to find the nuisance doing so. Until that has happened, he need to rely on his letter of credit and royal loans.
When the reports were done, the word got free. The first one to raise a topic was a lady Azapha from the Blackwald Trading Union, who told us about a new sight in Stormwind as of late. Doomsday prophets handing out propaganda of some sort. She handed out some pamphlets for our viewing, and quoted some parts regarding "the king throwing away his diamond crown". While we do not know for certain, I start to have a nagging feeling this might mean something larger is at hand.
The senators around the table started throwing out questions regarding the sightings and more, some outright asked if they weren't part of those trying to spread the doomsday propaganda themselves.
After much discussion about that, we had to move along and handle the next topic. The next visitor was a elf named 'Charlie' Blazesong that mentioned that the Alliance have been gathering forces in Stonetalon Mountain and that the Horde are reacting upon that, so we can use what reinforcements we can muster in time. Volunteers are more than welcome to tag along for this endeavour.
With that said, we concluded the meeting and sign the document. We hope the Titans will guide us through these odd times.

- The monument isn't in Stormwind yet and neither was it mentioned at the senate. Seems Cyrik got a bit ahead of himself!
Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 4th of August by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Farfield
Assistant Duskblade
Senator Lightbang
Senator Boozeboat
Senate starting as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Senator Farfield reports that the shipment of reagents have made their way to the Dark Iron lord Rendan, and that his men has begun training with the items. With that done, he wish to step down from the Seat of Occult, as he is due for some changes in his life, as well as planning to leave Ironforge. His work has been excellent, and his advice will be missed for certain.
Senator Lightbang mentions that the blueprints recieved by miss Azapha has been checked and built into a prototype. An employee was however getting a bit over-enthusiastic with gunpowder and had an incident, but not due to flawed technology. The design for a handheld gun ought to provide longer range, as well as faster reloading time. Senator Lightbang also mentions that if the testing is succesful and production is plentiful, we might send some over to Stormwind. Senator Farfield however is doubtful of that idea.
Senator Boozeboat mentions that there are some new ministers in Stormwind, of which one is currently visiting the meeting. There has yet to come a diplomatic visit from Lord Lightbringer, despite discussing it over a month ago. He is most likely busy planning the Pilgrimage to Uther's tomb.
She also reports that King Magni has broken free, and began warning the leaders of the Alliance about the return of the Legion. It be disturbing news in more ways than one, but for now we can only begin prepare as well as we can.
Seat of Order's assistant, Duskblade, reports the following:
He is under the belief that a dangerous group has been pardoned for their transgressions. He however believes he have reasons to warrant their disallowance within the city of Ironforge. The Azure Flame are suspected to perform acts of necromancy on Tol Barad. This caused a roiling sea of discussions that was too hard for me to follow and write down properly.
The talking eventually calmed down, and Senator Boozeboat called for a vote for outlawing the Azure Flame. With total unison the Azure Flame was voted to be outlawed.
After that was handled, the word got free. The first one to raise a topic was the Wildhammer thane Sargos Thunderwing, who wish to know about the Ironforge embassy in Stormwind. Or more precisely, when it can be opened. Senator Boozeboat replies that it was opened months ago. Thane Thunderwing then wished to discuss the topic of the necromancers in Azure Flame, stating that "It should not matter if they be within our land or not. It is a threat and it should be dealt with fast and hard". While I agree with him on that matter, we are needing a plan on how to do things before we rush in, maybe get unnecessary losses.
With that said and done, it was time to conclude the meeting after roughly ninety minutes worth of discussions. One of our busiest meetings in years, if I recall it right. May we be blessed with such meetings henceforth as well, since they be a blessed sight for someone politically active.
May the Titans guide our steps. We are going to need it in the coming storm.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 11th of August by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Felha
Senator Lightbang
Senator Boozeboat
Senate start as usual on the sound of the horn at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Before I start with the reports, I had to share the dreadful news I recieved mere minutes ago. The human king, Varian Wrynn, fell in battle against the Legion forces! I had to speak to the people visiting regarding this, and try rally them to greater efforts against the demonic invasion. After that, we proceeded with the reports.
Senator Felha reports that the Legion are invading at various locations, including but not limited to: Dun Morogh, Westfall and Hillsbrad. A call to arms has been issued and people are urged to sign up and use their skills against the demonic invaders.
Senator Lightbang mentioned that he would sound like a broken record if repeating what I and senator Felha have already mentioned, but he urged citizens not willing to fight to stay inside the city walls.
Questions arose from a visiting gnome that wanted to know if we could vouch for the safety within the city walls, if we are safe within the city limits. The question got answered to the best of our ability, although comments and whispers were soaring through the room at the answers supplied by Senator Felha.
Senator Lightbang also mentions that he will be out travelling, and if all goes according to plan, come back after a week. Some of us, including myself, got concerned about the dangers of travelling at this point of time, with invasions occuring here and there. He assured that he will do his best to stay out of the fray, and take a portal.
Senator Boozeboat begin her report by telling a VERY poor joke at this time. She kept it going for quite a while, much to the dismay of those attending. She also mentioned I should improve my note-writing, which was part of the joke.
*Sidenote*I think it was part of the joke at least.
After the reports, the word got free and the first one to raise a topic was one of the newly arrived demon hunters, Carieth, who ask about senator Felha's decision to currently ban the usage of fel magic within the lands. The question was if demon hunters are banned from the city. It got replied to with a good answer, and we moved on.
The next topic raised came from a female human, who asked if the demon hunters are allowed to walk among us, or fight among us. After some discussion back and forth regarding details, senator Felha and senator Boozeboat gave some good replies to end that topic.
Following topic came from a male worgen from the Blackwald Trading Union, who wished to know who their contact would be for the first shipment they have to send for the Ironforge military if senator Lightbang is going away. Senator Lightbang refer to senator Felha for that particular matter. After that got handled, we moved along to conclude the meeting.
The meeting lasted for over one hour, and many things were covered tonight. I hope the Titans will keep guiding us through these perilous times.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 18th of August by Senator Boozeboat.
Attendance list:
Senator Boozeboat
Senator Felha
Assistant Duskblade
The senate began a few minutes late because everyone but Boozeboat failed to show up on time.
Senator Boozeboat informed everyone about a memorial for Varian Wrynn that is to be held at eight o'clock on Sunday evening. The event takes place in the reconstructed Park area that is now known as the Lion's Rest.
Senator Felha reported that the Legion's invasions grow larger every day, and most of the guards have been sent to Dun Morogh to bolster the defences.
She also announced that
According to Minister Blazesong it won't be about politics, but rather about actually doing something to win this war. She urges every order to send a representative. The council of war will gather in the Hall of Arms in Ironforge at eight o'clock on Saturday.
Assistant Duskblade has relocated some of the patrollers of Ironforge to deal with the Legion's incursion. He has also spoken about joint exercises with a representative of the armed forces of Stormwind — Deputy Minister Centax, supposedly.
Centax then elaborated that his plan is more focused on domestic safety, in contrast to Minister Blazesong's more offensive approach. He also wishes that the two kingdoms would co-operate more in terms of law enforcement — so as to prevent people who are outlawed in one from seeking shelter in the other.
Consul/Journalist Extraordinaire Jembles Chisparks raised a question about the recent case where Stormwind officials pardoned a bounty that was set in Ironforge — should such things not also be addressed if Centax's proposal is to be considered?
— Senator Felha promised that they would.
Lord Hutchins inquired about where the trials would be held then, and about situations where the laws cross over - for the laws of the two kingdoms differ in some ways. Councillor Narin suggested that the trials would be held wherever the crime happened, and Senator Felha said her idea would be taken into consideration. They then moved on without actual closure.
The self-entitled mastersmith Fenodyree has finished making new armour for the Mountaineers. Additionally, he asks for funding to get ore from the Broken Isles. Senator Boozeboat advised him to seek the funding from a private investor.
Lord Hutchins has noticed that some Legion 'stragglers' remain behind even after an invasion has been pushed back. He urges people to make sure they are eradicated as well, so they cannot subtly sabotage the defenders. He also volunteered to lead a team to hunt them.
The meeting concluded at five past nine.

- She would be heading to the front lines soon, and thus she may be unable to attend the next senate meeting(s).

Senate started as usual 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Senator Lightbang reports a successful trade and tactical mission to the night elf territory. He has returned with schematics for glaive throwers and various recipes for explosive materials. He'll begin producing those soon enough.
Senator Boozeboat tells that there will be a party at 10 o'clock on Saturday in the Beergarden of Dalaran.
Assistant Duskblade reports that the demonic invasions have increased in numbers and speed. He asks for any aid possible with this matter from the public. I added that some mountaineers had went out on an unauthorized mission of their own to help get clues about the invasions. They managed to bring home a tome of sort that remain to be deciphered. Assistant Duskblade got interested in this matter and will examine the tome later on.
With that done, the word got free, and the first one to raise a topic was Maelmoor Lightbringer. He first asked if some Edwin Manaspark was wanted within Ironforge or its lands. We said no, since we are not aware of any crimes he had commited here. Secondly he wanted to talk to Senator Boozeboat about the embassy in Stormwind. A meeting will be arranged regarding that.
Second to raise a topic would be the current lord of House of Yore, who wish to establish a meeting with the Seat of Order, Felha. Assistant Duskblade asked if he could pass along some message to her. He then proceeded to take out a communicator of some kind and spoke into it. He did not reach Senator Felha however, and said he'll pass the word next time he sees her.
Meeting ended at 20.55, may the Titans keep guiding our way.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 8th of September by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Lightbang
Senate start as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Senator Lightbang reports that with the blueprints from the Night Elves, the glaive throwers he built are now finished and ready for deployment. When questioned as to why we build glaive throwers, he responded with the ammunition being more common over there, compared to our artillery shells for siege tanks and the like.
Further questioning regarding potential lack of resources got replied with that the logistics might be a bit hard to transport all the materials needed to provide our larger siege engines.
A question arose for the Senate regarding what it is doing to help maintain the safety for the citizens. A self-defense trainer is around to train those who wish to be able to defend themselves. People seem content with that reply, and we moved on.
A draenei asked if there has been any sightings of dragons in the Broken Isles, as she is curious about their kind. The Senate haven't recieved word of such, thus it was denied that there had been sightings. She also asked if there was an emergency aid plan in Ironforge, in case of a demonic infestation. The self-defense trainer is part of the solution, but more can be done to provide aid. Plans will be made with Senator Felha for such.
The draenei rose a question regarding our weaponry, and suggesting how we could possibly improve upon it against demonic enemies. Discussions and ideas flew back and forth, but too early to say for definitive results as what to do.
The meeting ended 20.43 after many discussions and questions. Titans strenght to us all, may they guide our path.

Senate start as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Senator Felha reports that the fighting have picked up at Broken Isles against the demonic invaders, but that travellers ought to be careful still of potential demonic stragglers in the homelands. She also mention that the draenei city Exodar had come under attack by the Legion. Though bravely defended by our allies, it didn't end well, and the naaru named O'ros was lost to the draenei, destroyed when doing what it could against the demonic onslaught. No news about prophet Velen however, but we read that as a good sign that he did not fall in battle.
Senator Lightbang mentions that he has managed to get in contact with the self-defense trainer mentioned last meeting, and have organized scheduled training sessions in the military ward, free for all who wish to attend those.
Assistant Duskblade mentions he has been rather occupied with the Ebon Blade lately. It seems from his report that the Acherus have moved over to the Broken Isles to combat the Legion forces more directly. Their aid will be an invaluable asset to have in these times.
No word from the audience tonight, thus we wrapped it up early at 20.25. Titans guide our way.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 22nd of September by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Lightbang
Senator Boozeboat
Senate start as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
I started with mentioning the Brewfest event at Saturday at 18.00 and that all are welcome to attend it. A question rose if we couldn't send a batch to Dalaran for those at the frontlines. Since it would improve our goodwill, I replied that we could do so.
Senator Lightbang reported that the self-defense training class yesterday was a success, but due to the timing it collided with the Azerothain Homefront that were meeting at Bruuk's Corner. The success with this event resulted in discussion of continuation of those training sessions, and he welcomed all who missed it last time to attend the next one.
Senator Boozeboat reports that she is busy planning the next party, which will be around the Hallows End theme.
After that, the word got free, but since no topics were raised, the meeting got concluded after fifteen minutes.
The lack of visitors is starting to worry us, since we want to hear what we can do to serve the people. May the Titans guide our path.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 29th of September by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Senator Boozeboat
Senator Stormpike
Senate starts as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
I started out asking Senator Boozeboat if she had anything to report, which she did not have. I put forward a message from our Seat of Artifact that he'll arrive soon, as he mentioned he was slightly delayed. Question rose regarding where the other senators are at, as well as if any senatorial positions are vacant. Both questions were replied to.
As senator Stormpike arrived, he asked if we had heard about Stormheim. Seemingly some Ironforge clerks have been stealing from the Crown and fled to Stormheim, offering their stolen goods to a local monarch. As he was trying to explain further on, a gnomish visitor started talking at the same time, resulting in some disruption. The gnomish visitor left after that, and the report carried on. According to reports, structures have been seen in Stormheim which resembled Ulduar constructions.
Thus he come to his request: To get a budget of five thousand gold for exploration projects in Stormheim. Counting up travel and food expenses, repair costs and the like, not to mention the salaries of the explorers themselves, it sums up to roughly that much. I contributed with a sum myself (forty gold) as there is some interest in the archaeological part on my side.
After he wrote the sum up, Senator Boozeboat wanted to add to the topic by telling she is quitting. According to her statement, the senators are either 'nincompoops' (I reckon a gnomish word for something, will look it up) or totally incompetent. After that, she walked out of the room so I couldn't get her signature on the document. Senator Stormpike carried on however, mentioning that a severe loss of gold (eight thousand to be precise) over the past few months which caused reactions among the crowd.
With the reports done, we continued with the visitors as the word got free. The first one to raise a topic was a male worgen, who had to ask about the missing gold. As most likely everyone in the room were curious about this, Senator Stormpike replied and gave an array of details explaining his theories regarding the matter.
In the end, we agreed that whomever the culprits were to steal from the Mountain, they will be dealt with. If demons, we purge them. If citizens, we trial them.
After everything was said and done, we concluded the meeting after roughly an hour. May the Titans guide us in these perilous times.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 6th of October by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:
Assistant Duskblade
Senate start as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
I began with mentioning yesterdays event at the Brewfest camp, which was a great success. Thanks to the preparations made by the co-organizer Sebastian Hutchins it went almost flawless!
I wished to announce the reorganization of Senate, but since we need more than one senator present for a proper discussion, this had to be delayed.
The missing gold mentioned last week will be investigated, and a team lead by myself will handle the investigation regarding if any of the senators knew about it.
After that, the word got free and the first to raise a question was a dwarven citizen asking when the next brewfest would be organized. His question was handled and I moved on with the next topic.
Drengi Dragonback was next to raise a topic, and he reported in from his journey to Ulduar. He mentions that to avoid the vicinity of the Broken Isles on the way north, the journey got slowed down.
However, after communicating with the constructs in Ulduar, the location of Magni Bronzebeard was found! Apparantly he remains in his diamond state, but he move and talks! Calling himself 'the Speaker' and communing with the very earth. This was not the end of the report however, as disturbing facts came forth. Beings that have been seen in the past serving the Old Gods have reappeared around the world. Dragonback suggests that we not only have the Legion to worry about, but also the Old Gods themselves! Current location of any live Old Gods is unknown, but they are likely hiding someplace we have yet to explore.
Steyen Duskblade recalled some rumours regarding Magni Bronzebeard seemingly floating around the Acherus, but since he didn't mention what, we skipped over to hear what Lord Lightbringer had to say.
Lord Maelmoor Lightbringer raised a hand to mention that a monthly market will take place tomorrow evening at eight bells in Stormwind, at the docks.
Sebastian Hutchins raised a topic next, mentioning the murders that have been occuring in or around Stormwind as of late. The bloodied handprint on the message left behind is larger than a human hand, suggesting it could be dwarven or some other race with big hands. He will keep an eye and ear open for any news regarding the matter, and we promised to notify our guards about keeping their eyes peeled for anything suspicious.
After that, we concluded the meeting. May the Titans guide our steps along the route.

Written on the 13th of October by senator Lightbang
Attendance list:
Assistant Duskblade
Senator Stormpike
Senator Lightbang
Senate start as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
We started with assistant Steyen, who reported that the Knights of the Ebon Blade have been bolstering their ranks with minions and death knights alike, who are taking up arms against the Burning Legion. Very goods new indeed.
Senator Stormpike had several matters to discuss. First, he wanted to officially apologize for 'roughing someone up' who interrupted his speech. Senator Lightbang warned him that such behaviour is not tolerated from someone in a representative role. He dragged along with him a gnome death knight, who appararently had clear dealings with the missing gold, or at least that's what senator Stormpike accused him of. However, the gnome escaped during the 'interrogation' (which mainly consisted of Senator Stormpike shouting at the soul).
Senator Stormpike also clearly had some ill will against former senator Boozeboat, saying she holds double standards and generally taking her capability as a former senator in question. I could not let this transgress and both Steyen and I called the senator back to order. We would like to remind him that private matters with Webbles Boozeboat must be discussed in private, and that he is not to abuse his public status as a senator to tarnish her reputation.
Then, the word was free. The mountaineers asked again if there was any reinforcement possible for defense of the Ironforge homefront, which is nigh impossible considering nearly all the forces are on the broken isles, and moving them back would be costly and time-consuming. Skarain also spoke up, saying she had some matters to discuss with assistant Steyen. Steyen and Skarain agreed that the matter should be discussed in private further.
After that, we concluded the meeting. May the Light keep us safe.

Re: •IC• Report Archives
Written on the 20th of October by Chancellor Blackforge.
Attendance list:

Senate starting as usual at 20.00 local Ironforge time.
Steyen Duskblade began by reporting an appeal have come in from a wanted criminal of Ironforge, Skarain Feirand. As she and her group intends on joining the fight against the Legion, it would seem counter-productive to have a warrant on their members in these dire times when they come to aid. After some discussions back and forth regarding this, a vote was called for handling the matter, resulting in a nullification of the warrant. They are free to come and go as they wish, to better fight the Legion.
After that got handled, Senator Stormpike reported that the convict he brought to the last session is nowhere to be found, despite a thorough search by the guards. There is a large sum missing still from the treasury, but it would seem the guards have a lead to the thief's hideout and have asked for Senator Stormpike's presence there. The resulting action lead to the finding of 1783 gold pieces, 67 silver coins and 83 copper pieces being recovered from the hideout, thus lessening the amount missing to roughly 6400 gold. Also accounting for some miscalculations whereas some of the gold has been spent legitimally, roughly 1500 gold, which brings down the missing gold to 4863 golden coins, rounded up.
He also suggested a pinitive expedition to find and deal with the remaining criminals involved in this crime against the Mountain, to which another senator agreed to.
He also wished to propose an official appeal for public capital through treasury bonds to finance the treasure expedition, which will only be offered to residents of Khaz Modan, dividends shall be handed out every year for their participations, as long as they don't cash out.
When the reports were done, the word got free. First to raise a topic was Skarain Feirand that wished to contact a person responsible for diplomacy and such, to which we pointed out that our Seat of Relations had recently left us. However we still have our Seat of Transactions, which should suit the need for now. Recommended her to send a letter to him to be able to reach him.
Lastly, I brought up that our northern borders are threatened. The Aerie peak dwarves have requested we come up and aid with troops to counter recent Horde movements there, to which Assistant Duskblade responded that he'd take a gryphon up there tomorrow to check out the situation.
With that said and done, we concluded the meeting after one hour from start. May the Titans guide our path.
