The Disciples of Light is a Military Order of the Holy Light that stands as symbol for all that is righteous and fair! It is the first and last line of defense against the malevolent forces that plague our world, and will not rest until all evil has been vanquished! Swift in the offense, but always ready to defend the innocent, the Disciples have a war laden history against Horde, Legion and cults.
We bring the teachings of the Light to the dark corners of the world, and illuminate it!

We will protect the lands of the Alliance, and all of the innocents they may harbor!

We will deliver justice upon Windrunner the Banshee Queen and her Forsaken and seek to abolish her Royal Apothecary.

We will reclaim the lost lands of Lordaeron in the name of the Light, and uphold the principles of the Silver Hand!

To join us in our quest and become an honorable combatant of the Holy Light, you must (learn to) follow its three tenets

RESPECT - Only by respecting all forms of life can we strive for a better world.
TENACITY – Even in the this disharmonious world, we must not stray from the Light's path.
COMPASSION – To help people with purity of heart, while not depriving them from the valuable lessons that make them grow.

Only by following these virtues can you become a true Disciple of Light. By seeking perfection within ourselves, the Light will guide and empower us to aid the world around us.

ROLEPLAY AND PVP
The Disciples of Light try to offer a roleplay experience true to the realms RP-PvP status, offering action in different aspects of the game. World PvP, and to lesser extent PvE, are integral parts of the Disciple roleplay. Yet they remain a full time roleplay guild, offering character development, religious and anti-cultist roleplay.

OPEN TO NEW PLAYERS
Beginning roleplayers and new characters are welcomed in our order as much as veteran roleplayers. The path that the Disciples offer in their ranks ensure a gradual progression and have been tailored to run parallel with a leveling character.

(Playable) Races & Classes
Dwarves, Gnomes, Draenei, Human, Gilnean (Worgen). Warrior, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Shaman(Draenei), Rogue, Hunter, Monk are all classes that are accepted into the order none better than the other all of them are equal in the warm embrace of the holy light.

Not all who walk the path of the light are Paladins or Priests, the world afterall is made up of more than just these few and the light guides and protects all, for it is for everyone not just for a few.

Many different people of various backrounds and skills also walk the path of the light, utilizing their skills and abilities in bettering the lives of others, be that protecting them by martial might or through magical barriers, or be it through the knowledge of the elements; even to spiritual and worldly wisdom and of course diplomacy.

Diversity is a beautiful thing, through it we can all learn from one another and become closer to each other putting to use our skills and talents together, to defend our people and make a better world.

Mage
Where would the Alliance be without it's vastly intelligent, inquisitive and very skilled spell casters, the mages? Who knows, but what the Disciples of Light does know is, that that their comprehensive skills and abilities makes them invaluable servants to the Alliance and the holy light. Need to scry to learn the origins of a dark artifact or some dark magic? Then it is the Mages task to assist his order in doing so, some warlock opens a portal allowing demonic entities to flow into the world, perhaps a mage is the only thing standing in the way, using his skills and powers with the assistance of his brothers and sisters defending him from the heinous hordes of the legion, leaving him free to end the dark magics that keep the portal open, it is but a trifle amount of jobs a Mage can execute in his service as part of The Disciples of Light.

Rogue
A good order knows that sometimes brute force and intellect or even words will not resolve a situation, sometimes it takes members with wit and cunning to root out evil, corruption and injustice in the Alliance, as well as this the order recognizes it needs eyes and ears in the more "shady" part of the Alliance. It is also advantageous for the order to have those skilled in assassination (though the Disciples may be loathe to employ such tactics, however if the safety of the people requires such action then it shall be done) as well as scouting ahead before a full force of Disciples announce their presence, this is merely a small measure of what can be offered in service.

Hunter
Combat from battles to small skirmishes are rarely fought with steel upon steel, this is where great marksman,trackers and trappers and eagle eyed recon-scouts come into the fold, supplying bow and arrow and traps into the battle, slaying the enemy from afar and crippling assaults or patrols with well placed traps, this is not the only range of skills that can be supplied however, hunting and gathering as well as expertise in flora and fauna allow the Disciples to venture forth into hostile territories and survive in a sufficient manner to continue the good fight.

Warrior
Skilled armsmen, a backbone of an order, men and women devoted to a wide range of armours and weaponry in combat, in defense for the people of the Alliance, fighting by the virtues and by the Disciple's code of honour. These fearsome fighters also teach and preserve the valuable skills that keep our soldiers fighting at their best so that our fate shall be written by our hand, whatever comes our way, with our warriors marching forward at the forefront, doing the Alliance proud.

Shaman
Shamanistic followers of the Light focus on the physical manifestation of the universe, bridging the gap between people and the earth on which walk. By working and nurturing the land, it may become fruitfull to those who live upon it in a harmonious whole.
Shamans are conduits of great elemental power and call for the elements to aid their people, heal their comrades and lay down low their foes. They seek no power or pride, but dedicate their ways to bring the universe and its denizens closer to each other.
