However, the violence in RP -can- definitely be.

there's .... how many threads/ discussions about ERP on the forums..Christ I skipped to the end to ask mods to lock it before we have ppl following others around to isolated areas and taking pics claiming ERP.

My 2 cents as someone who has seen what ERP can do to guilds.
Don't discuss it... if you do it do it in raids / instances or use private chat channels.

In all fairness, if you havent read the thread then you shouldnt ask for a lock since you have no idea what has and hasnt been discussed. So far it has remained civil and personally I think these kinds of talks need to be had ever now and then, hence why it has done so once again.

I really feel we've strayed too far from the original discussion, which was a good one in my opinion. Now it's a matter of who likes pixelpenisses or not(should be a scrabbleword).

Yes, there is enough sexytime in the World of Warcraft... but I can't be bothered by it really. "Protect the kids! Protects the kids!" Those kids are in Goldshire jerking away at Night Elves dancing on mailboxes... I'm not saying they shouldn't manabomb Goldshire, but that would basically move the problem.

I don't oppose to ERP, heck. Whilst others would choose the "fade-to-black" method and others would ERP it out is fine by me as well. Heck, there are even websites to advertise your ERP char, which is also fine by me.

And while I feel I am on a roll here, we should most definitely have parental block on Battlegrounds and Raids as I experience that as a swearingfest and cesspit of adolescence humour....

Heck, the only 14/15 year old I know on WoW is well aware of what ERP is and that (s)he does not like to participate in it.

Kids seeing ERP won't damage them. The issue I have is those that would ERP with a kid because they're not "physically" having sex with them so their argument is "what's the problem?"

Well, I guess this also depends on where you live. In some nations you're "allowed" to have sex younger than others. That goes for the usual "age limit" for porn. At this point I find it rather silly though, since I dont know anyone that follows them.
