Biggest "Oh shit" moment for you in RP

In an event with the Draenei community where we were confronted by a kraken sized Fen Strider, losing the fight quite severely in which several of us had been incapacitated and/or rendered unconcious. Arenfel had to get the party to safety through a mass teleport, and due to the difficulty of the spell - I - the player had to get three consequtive rolls in a row to perform the spell.

Put simply, after I managed to get two rolls in a row the DM of the event whispered me: "By the way, if Arenfel fucks up this roll there's a signifigant chance the spell will backfire and kill him."

Then I had to wait for a minute, thinking if typing "/roll" the third time was worth it. It was, we were all saved!

I've had a few ''Oh shit'' times when Wulf was captured and tortured, but the most memorable one for me was when he was studying and following the Orcs and got caught. I think this was during the Andorhal campaign a very long time ago!

Biggest 'Oh shit' moment for me would be when Eodan got corneded by Olian, Eowale and several other forsaken in the Tirisfal Glades. He got mauled to bits and I actually believed he would have been killed was it not for Eloresh & his crew to rescue him.


What I regret the most OOC would be the time Eodan cheated on Sharyssa. It made little sense and ruined quite a lot for a lot of people.

- when Corleth went power-hungry as archlector in the Abbot Osmand's absence and convinced several gullible canons and later Helsythe that Aadaria was evil and trying to destroy the chapter from within so that he could get rid of the pesky inquisitor.

Logging on to be met by a wall of spam telling me I was going to die...... *peers at Corleth* Such an evil piece of ***but I <3 you... It was a quick resolve as of course.. I had known for a while you were not as you should be.. But alas convincing the rest of the Chapter that I was -good- and you were -bad-.... Wasnt all that easy. Light praise the swift tongue..

A proper 'ohh shit' moment

We in the Chapter were going to read a proclamation denouncing shadow magic and specifically Mandui at a council meeting. Upon arriving we find the council jammed full of guards and before Osmand even got to speak the wonderfull proclamation the Chapter all get arrested, at the time we were so confused as to why we were arrested but I decided screw it! I'll yell my proclamation.

Stupidly reading the proclamation which contained some choice racist remarks which swiftly removed the support of the only people in the hall who kinda liked us DRS.

Truely Icly 'oh shit' and Oocly 'Oh shit'

During the Nature's Grasp vs. Cultists plotline last year, I gave chase to a dragon (played by Eira) that had kidnapped a guildie, flew over the sea to Darkshore only to have the dragon turn around to engage me in combat. Me in bird form. I was "0_0"

Also, the three-four days after that incident where Ixirar and the priestess she was trying to save were held captive by the Cultist Dragon and her lackeys.

oh yeah i forgot a big oh shit moment, maybe the biggest:

travelling to Darkshire on Greagoir with four shadowbreakers, they go inside the tavern to check on the place while Greagoir stands outside. all of sudden some undead gryphon swoops down and emotes trying to pick Greagoir up, next thing I know Greagoir is being flown over the Deadwind Pass and dropped to the ground to find Andrek and 2 other masked cultists standing over him. Andrek muttered some ominous words which I can't remember, Greagoir is then knocked out and dropped off in some random ditch. I thought he was going to be dropped to his death over Deadwind.

(actually I think the death knight that did it was Crojwin)

An Oh Shit moment for me was when I was new to the Alliance.

This "citizen" walks up to my mini-officer Clay Farglade of the Chapter, asking for aid because someone attacked her/his (as I can not recall the character) friend. We arrive to the spot where I kneel over the person, suddenly two Dark Sphere 'agents' pop up and jabs a needle into my neck and injects a poison that passes me out. This was at a remote part of the Harbour so no one actually walks by, they calmly casts a summoning ritual and I'm suddenly pulled into the heart of the Dark Sphere HQ.

I was like "Aw fuck" when that happened, I truly did not see it coming. BUT I got to spit in Marticore's face.. mask..

Victoria deceided the best way to get into a warband, was to make an attempt on The Chief's life! For dramatic effect of course, and y'know show off her skills.

She danced with Thrakha for a few minutes, before the entire warband turned upon her, she was arrested and would've met the final death if Thrakha, haden't offered her a deal and in turn membership to the warband.

There was a point where I was actually expecting for her to die.

On this day:

Preston and sieg planed a prank in which they would use sauce and a sword to fake his stabing, blades and a disciple were curious since they did casue fake comotion at first, it went down but they apologised and everyone was angry... Now here is where it went "AW SHIT"

Suddenly Alliona one of our members starts to get acused that she once helped Vincent and then taken to the Garrison. I was "What is happening.. ? ...... Aw shit" .

Icly it seemed like a big mess and Sieg was Pissed, thankfully plans were made and order restored, now only the trial awaits.

I am afraid I missed the first part of your said prank, but all from the accusations stage 1 I do believe I got most of it. Must say though sorry Allonia but when the horde first killed you..... XD I stopped, looked at the corpse and went... I wish this was real It was just very well timed, despite you know ^_^

I was there on my DK with Andrek in Deadwind and Syrrah was the DK that was on the gryphon. You know. the big guy. To us this was hillarious lol.

Way way way WAY back when Merandil had a brief stint leading the War Council forces (after faking Seiken's will the... First? Second? time he died), he led a charge in the Hinterlands on horseback and nearly ran his horse straight off the cliff above that Troll village (I forget its name).

Just yesterday when we were waiting at the trial in the Garison and Dwyburn decided to say a "Truthful word" mostly on Braidens account, as one of his "Snakes" overheard it and one talk later he was aprehended for sedition and later Lashed in the stokes.

Biggest Ohshi moment? Got two!

Walking to the Blades on my warlock who was offering help (ravenholdt cultist though xD) but well.. get shot and later on killed. This was actually my first non-prearranged char death.

Where Nilda suddenly gets imprisoned for something she doesn't know about to await execution. I have to be honest, plotting and sheming is nice but...not knowing ooc and thinking it's all an IC fuckup that may risk your char's life...sooooo yeaaaaaaaah MY FACE! xD

Biggest "oh-shit"-moment?
Was AFKing in the Darkshire Inn while questing, back when I was very new to RP. Then suddenly, I glance back at my screen. It is now filled with Army of the Dead-members in heavy armour raiding the town. Surviving that encounter still strikes me as pretty lucky.

Oh, and yesterday was ... special. But that's not my moment, it was the build up to Braibrai's

When the Cartel disguised as Arathi guards wanted to speak with Ildranor in private, I knew it was most likely the end of Ildranor, yet ICly Ildranor had no reason to decline at all. I was like "Fffffff--... Ah well, brought it on my-.. Ffffffff"

Or when the Cartel attacked a group of Dwarves in Stormwind, and that Rhag (the murderer of Ezlbag they been looking for) got dragged off for torture after being knocked out, they didn't know it was him.. Yet.
But when they would discover, which they most likely would. He would be dead! But luckily and randomly the Cartel dragged the near naked and beaten Rhag past his friend, Eodan. Who rescued him. I also was like "Am screwed.." until I saw Eodan appearing on my screen.

When you agree to let your char be kidnapped by the Ravenholdt, knowing her fate is tied to someone in DOL's jail. Then go away over the weekend, then checking my PM's to see that char she is 'tied' to has been executed and thinking; "Well fuck, I'm screwed"

Mine was when Brigs was yelling (Like always) into the air about some criminal and then Samian shouted "You ever heard of the boy that shouted wolf?!" and then my Azzy yelled "Wolf!" and Samian replied "WHO THE FUCK YELLED THAT?!" and then some other not-so-delightful things and I was giggling IC...


... Until he appeared in the doorway. I went from "Tee Hee" to "OHSHI-- FLEEEE!" in 0.4 nano-seconds.
