Mass Effect 3

And that right there is why Metacritic sucks and I don't use it.
People who can't put up reasonable scores and rage etc. True, I haven't played the game myself since I haven't bought it. With the ending debacle i*m not sure I will. But from everything I've heard the game is for most parts really good and well made. If we excuse the ending (which I chose to spoil myself to follow the debate).

And the multiplayer is fun with friends.

Yeah, multiplayer is ace.

Just borrowed it from a friend this morning and installing it now!
I've been lucky to avoid all ME3 media, threads and comments, so I know nothing of the endings nor rest of the story, yet.

Someone made a review saying that Mass Effect 3 was a typical "first person shooter". Suffice to say, "User" reviews can go fuck right off.

Pretty much it. Honestly, there are some good resolutions to story points spread throughout the game, and as others point out the Multiplayer is fantastic, I really do not understand why people allow the ending to bring down their entire experience with the game.

Yes, the ending is crap, but I had fun -getting- there. The game is like what, 30 hours long? That's 29 hours and 50 minutes of just amazing story, acting, gameplay and writing before the final 10 minutes make you go "Wait what". THAT DOES NOT MAKE THE GAME A 2 OUT OF 10 YOU GODDAMN CRETINS!!!

Also, on the subject of Multiplayer, if anyone feels like getting some games on I go by "HellbirdIV" (as usual) on Origin, and I'm nearly always up for some Silver or Gold challenges.

I love playing my Quarian infiltrator against geth. My vanguard isn't as happy about them. Stupid flamethrowing bastards. But the banshees .__. worst.

My favourite at the moment is Turian Soldier, so badass. Turns out you can't do dodge-rolling, so, like a true turian, if you see a rocket coming towards you, your only choice is to INTERCEPT IT WITH YOUR FACE.

Krogan Soldier is hilarious on easier difficulties, just running around smacking Marauders and Cerberus soldiers so hard they fly into orbit.

I've been hoping to get quarian or salarian unlocks, but no luck so far. I have all asari and drell unlocks, and all the soldier unlocks but no turian or krogan Sentinels and no salarian or quarians =(((

I just want asari adept. Such a good support class.

I actually got asari adept a little while back, Stasis + Heavy Sniper Rifle = Trollin'

I played it in the beta since I got it in my starter pack and loved it ever since, but in live I got asari vanguard fairly early on and focused on that instead. I even got the Disciple (asari shotgun) so I'm quite happy with that!

I just wish I could finally get the damn Phaeston to use with my turian soldier... or the Revenant. Turian soldier has the Marksman ability which increases your rate of fire by like 40%, so an automatic Assault Rifle or SMG + Ammo capacity is crazy fun.

I usually dismiss most professional reviews as well xD can't count the number of online reviewers who are consistently writing crap, even those who write for fairly popular sites, and magazines are no better. Someone once wrote a review for Portal 2, saying it sucked because he shat his pants playing Portal 1 because of the solitary feel, and in comparison the sequel was ruined. Demos are usually better ways to judge a game because you experience it.
Reason I'm not buying ME3 though is just that I'm not into Mass Effect anymore, or this just doesnt interest me. ME1 and 2 were fun, I enjoyed them, but feels so long since I played I just don't care what happens now xD

Played asari adept in the beta and loved it. But I got the Disciple as well, and use it on my human vanguard. I do have an asari vanguard, but I would've liked to keep nova. Stasis is ace though. Damned useful ability.

I haven't played the multi-player, my internet is unreliable. :3

I also play krogan a lot, so I'm getting used to not even being able to do combat-rolls between cover, just running around killing everything with my head.

In general I play everything except humans, salarian infiltrator is awesome against Cerberus (Cloak, Energy Drain and then fire a sniper shot before the cloak breaks), asari adept with only a pistol or SMG makes for awesome biotic spam against Reapers, and quarian infiltrator is super OP against geth... that's when I don't just go turian or krogan and faceroll.

Anyone care to put up their Origin names btw if they want to play a few games?

Isn't that the exact same thing that The Escapist put up as an April's Fools gag? <.<
