Its Facebook, it cares naught for privacy. and datamines all your activity...as does msn, as does google.. there is no privacy on the internet. and its just a matter of linking a few things for suggestions.

Surprised there isn't a skype/facebook sharing thread. I mean the only reason I have skype is to stay in contact with people I met through WoW, nobody I know irl uses it really. Alright derailing from me is over, silly to derail a thread created to stop the derailing of another thread.

My MSN used to be a beautiful melancholic melange consisting of different fandoms. There were my WoW friends, my Warcraft friends, my Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom friend, my Enemy Territory: Return to Castle Wolfenstein friends, and even some Dragonball Z fandom friends.

Ah, the long nights chatting with such diverse people as "Do0MtR41n6six6", "blu_da_noob", "Ari-chan" and "Dominant-Male" ... Too bad that with the advent of Skype, I cleaned the whole mess up and am now pretty much left with just people I know by face. There's a certain romance to that crappy old almost 8-bit sounding Dundundun sound from whenever you recieved a message in a different conversations. Ah, I remember having over ten conversations up...And before that, mIRC, of course; how could anyone forget? Those chittery noises are still engraved firmly in my soul.

I know many irl who use it, but they use it for what I do - gaming.

It's true I never heard irl of people having skype just for staying in touch and chat. Facebook replaced that, not for me however, I truly hate the Facebook chat message noise. >.<

I use Skype to stay in touch and chat with people. Some people I have on Skype stopped playing WoW/arn't using Facebook.

we were having an open argument that turnd into an obvious one.. I dont remember saying anything that harsh wich i do apologise for.. If i remember I was on a sat double shift and I was quite cranky by the time that argument began..
