The Grand Campaign!

I'll keep it short. This thread is a sign up thread for the up and coming Victoria 2 Multiplayer game! I'll be trying to get one running, and hopefully we can find times to play from time to time, since this game gets >9000% more awesome the more players.
We'll be running with the 1.4 beta patch of the game and PDM on top of it. Links below.

If you want to be part of The Grand Campaign, type in when you can play (like Saturday & Sunday, 17:00-23:00) and what country you want to play as (noone gets to play as Britain 'cause that is just OP). Oh, and if you know your internet and computer is really good, offer yourself to be the host of the game, since it could be quite stressfull without a proper one!

3. Antistia (USA), 18:30-23:00 (All days)
4. Tsurana/Lorainne (The Netherlands), 18:30-23:00 (Weekends mostly)
5. Rasonal (Japan), No clue (No clue)
6. Halya (U.P.C.A. or Spain), 17:00-23:00 (Most days, pref Saturday)

Muzjhath (Prussia), 18:00-22:00 Most days. (can't start this saturday will be pen paper roleplaying, Otherwise most days. Might cahnge if I get an evening job, if so I'll change times here).

Just so everyone gets it, I edited the post for one reason:
We will -not- be running with the 1.4 beta patch. PDM is still on patch 1.3, and I can't live without that mod. So we'll be running patch 1.3!

As to what days I can play: 18:30-23:00 all days. However I do have some appointments over the coming days and I'm in the business of moving out so this is very much subject to change, however these are the safest hours.

That's a PDM 4.5.0 (including hotfix) right there Mikasa , which is newer.


Edit: Count me out then, I'm sticking with my 1.4 patch. It works well

There is a beta version of PDM out for patch 1.4
But I'm thankfull for this because I've still been unable to manage to download the 1.4 BETA.

Or you know what? What does -you- people want to play with? It's better if we all come to an agreement on what to actually play with and such >.>
Been a while since I played the game so I'm not up to date how it works 'n all. But if the majority wantst to play 1.4, we do that. And the other way around for the 1.4

As long as I can get the patch I'm fine with either. But right now the forum seem's down.

I'll only attend with the 1.4/PDM 4.5 (including hotfix) patch. I have no idea how to reverse engineer my way back to 1.3, and really I'm more prone to mess everything up than to get there.

Also: Generic Mod Enabler rocks for those not really good with installing mods (like me)

Y'know what then. We'll grab the 1.4 stuff. If you keep running into problems Muzjhath, poke around in the thread and we'll see what can be done.

Yay! It does work quite well. If Muzj can't get it, I think it's only fair that I opt out if others can get their hands on 1.3

oh lol, I think I was using the wrong PDM for my patch xD can't remember downloading the 1.4 patch for 13 January. I should look into that.

We need more warmongers to join for the conquest of THE WORLD! That's right. Control the world! I know you want to!

As for me getting the patch(es). As long as someone has the .rar or installer on their computer they can always send it to me some other way. I still can't connect to the forums.

I am available most evenings from 18:30 to 23:00. During the weekend most of the day. However, I can't play at every evening in relation to school.

I have a grand total of three goals. Be prepared!

I knwo there's more playing Victoria 2. Come on!

I managed to get the patches. Finally found where you register the CDkeys.

So now I just need to install and make sure it works.

Any specific time that suits you? Easier to set up the game if one knows when people can play :3

There will be times when I'll say: "Sorry guys, I can't play tonight.". This will imply that you can continue the game without me, if this is possible, thus letting the AI take over.

Hm. I might be able to do this. Around 17:00 to 23:00 (GMT). All days except mondays, and one day of the weekend (which varies from week to week, saturdays more than sundays).

Main choices based on current selections... U.P.C.A or Spain.

So, we have six people now. What do you all say about Saturday 28th 19:00 to try out our first game session?

That seems... Do-able.

Also, when I said more Saturdays than Sundays, I meant I was busy on Saturday more often than Sunday. And, has there been a conclusion on what version is being used?

We're using 1.4 Beta with PDM.
