FIRST LOG

The Fraternity succeded to organize a team for the expedition. After meeting with the mighty Flafy in Stormwind, the team flyed to the rebel camp in Stranglethorn and from there they headed to the hunters camp, where they had the chance to meet and speak With Hemet Nesingwary.
They organized their plan for the expedition, the explorers were seen the last time near Zul'Gurub. The team found four ways to the troll city: the first was to adventure throughout the jungle and cross the river, the second was to pass through a goblin facility, the third was to follow the road that went straight into a troll village and the last one was to circumvent the entire jungle but waste an huge amount of time.
After a brief talk the team decided to cross the river and use the mages to teleport the equipment across it.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

At the river they had some unpleasant encounter with some crocolisks but luckly the team managed to deal with the problem and head to the other side. Once there they head straight to the walls of the ancient troll city.

At the city walls, after searching around for a while, the team succeed to locate the explorers. From what they could see, the team was surprised by something while preparing a camp. They were found crystalized as if some kind of dark and strange magic was casted uppon them.
But in what was left of the camp, the team found the explorers notes about their researches in the zone. Seems they were looking for something in the area, but unfortunately, while doing so they paied the ultimate price.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The team decied to take back to Nesingwary's camp what was left of the explorers and claim their reward. But as soon they were ready to head back they were surprised by a group of troll witchdoctors. The witchdoctors proved to be a worthy opponent for the group, tring to cast their ancient and dark magic over them, but all this was not enough due to the determinaion and cold heart of the team that in the end vanquished such threat and safely returned to the camp.

Five gold each was the reward for such brave adventure, well for some was an act of noble spirit while for other just an opportunity to earn some gold.
"Does it end here?" You may ask, and no would be the answer. This is just the beginning, the team found the notes of the explorers and has now decided to solve the mistery at their place. What will this adventure bring our group to ? Dark and unsolved mysteryes ? Fame and marvellous treasutes ? Or maybe they will pay the ultimate price of death ?
Well, you will find out in the next log, or maybe you could experience it by yourself. There is always a room for new explorers...

SECOND LOG

After meeting again with the mighty Flafy in Goldshire, the team this time flew directly in BootyBay.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

In the notes they found in the last expedition, was reported that the explorers that were found dead were attacked by some pirates that appeared to have stolen the big part of the notes of their research. The explorers believed that their researches were stored in a cove near that Bay.
The team then decided to investigate on the matter and after talking with the bartender of the city, succeed to discover that the cove was situated inside the goblin statue on the island in front of the bay.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The team then explored the little island and, after taking out few pirates that were guarding the place, succeded to recover the stolen notes. But they also decided to keep some of the gold and a strange book titled "The King of the World" that were found in the cove.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

In the stolen notes was reported that the explorers had to meet a pirate called Yancey that was waiting for them outside Booty Bay. They claimed that the pirate knew something about the treasure they were after and that he agreed to help them in return of some documents that he needed. Also in the notes was reported the nature of such treasure: the explorers were looking for an incredible pure ruby called "The Eye of Zul" that they believed to be worth thousands of golds.
The team then decided to meet Yancey out of the city that, after having his documents delivered, revealed that his friends were looking for the gem too. His friends were after a precius idle that was supposed to contain some of the clues for the gem, but Yancey knew that they were looking in the wrong place and that the idle was situated in a cemetery behind Stranglethorn arena.

So they adventured into the jungle looking for that cemetety and, soon after, they succeed to find it and of course the idle that the pirate was talking about. In it, there was a map that lead the team into an ancient troll city.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Once arrived in the city, they faced something unexpected, the city was populated by mummies, but noone of them appeard to be interested in their presence. The team then found a strange totem shaped to represent a deformed monster. On it, strange troll runes were found reporting the following: The sun rises and fall everyday, but only in the first week of May it will shine right into the Eye of Zul.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But as soon as they dissacrated the place touching the totem, the mummies turned their attencion to them tring to kill the undesired guests. The team barricaded himself into the temple tring to fight with all their forces the endless sea of mummies that tied at all cost to get in. They were about to be overwhelmed but in that moment the mages of the team succeed, with a brave act, to open a portal to Stormwind and in the blink of an eye the team left the place to find himself in the comfortable rooms of the mage tower.

But the mystery does not end here! The clues for the gem are incomplete and there is still a witchdoctor to meet. What will happen next ? Well we must wait to find out...

THIRD LOG

This time the group had a briefling in Northshire Abbey, to organize all the fact and notions they found in the previous expeditions.

They started recovering two journals from the dead explorers. The first one, guided the group to the pirate cove near booty bay where they found other diaries and notions about of the explorers expedition. There, they realized that the explorers were after "The Eye of Zul" a precious sacred gem for the local troll. Following the same notes, they spoke with Yancey, a bloodsail pirate that helped them to locate the position of the first tempre that stored the position of this precious relic.
The second diary on the other hand, claimed that the dead explorers were going to speak with Unbagwa, a Whitchdoctor of the place, to ask questions regarding a statue they believed to be connected to the position of the gem. This time then, the group went after the whitchdoctor.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

They landed at the explorers camp in Stranglethorn and made their way to the place where they believed the whitchdoctor lived.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

There they found the doctor and asked informations about the statue. In return of his help he wanted the group to do something for him. Some ogres from a camp in the northen parth of Stranglethorn rushed in the south a cupple of weeks ago. They stolen part of the whitchdoctor equipment and he asked them to recover it.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The group was then forced to head to north and to help the whitchdoctor in exchange of the informations.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The team adventured into the jungle and, after a while, they succeeded to find the ogres and the equipment of the doctor.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

They decided to steal the equipment instead of fighting the ogres, but their plan was unsuccessful. They drew the ogres attencion and they were forced to fight some of them before running away.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

With the equipment in their hands, they went back to the whitch doctor cave. There, he revealed that the statue was situated on an island populated by naga on the western part of the cape of Stranglethorn.
With the informations they needed in their hands, the group decided to head back to the explorers camp and to seek out the island an other day due to the fatigue and the injuries inflicted by the ogres.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

The group is now preparing an other expedition. They are getting closer to the gem, and with a bit of luck it will be found very soon.

While I'm late to comment on the event from last week, I'll leave one anyway. Love the story, the events have been great to be a part off. Even if Celica seems to slack off most of the time and just watch the rest of you do all the work. Once again thanks for arranging and planning this Flemk.

FOURTH LOG

And so the search for the statue started. As usual the team reunited at the dig site of the explorers league, the closest camp to the naga island.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

From there they followed the road to south that brought them near the bridge for the island.
Unsure of what could wait them on the island, they climbed the closest mountain trying to have an overview of the entire place.
From there they realized that indeed the island was infested by the naga.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

They made their way in the island fighing the naga as best as they could and in the end they reached the statue that they have been looking for a long time.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

On the platform of the statue, an inscription was found, coordinates, that brought the team to a temple located deep in the north of the jungle.
And so they headed to north and in the end they reached the lost temple.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

On its walls ancient inscriptions were found, they spoke about the gem, but no detail was found on its location. But the temple was indeed hiding something, for braziers in front of it were found, and an inscription saing "The four braziers will open the path for the Eye of Zul".
After a while the group succeed to solve the mistery related to the braziers, and as soon all them were lighed up, a door opened from the inside of the temple revealing a final inscription: "The sun rises and fall everyday, but only during the first week of May it will shine right in the Eye of Zul".

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

With this last clue in their hand the team came back tot he camp where they stayed for the night resting for the intense trip.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

"The sun rises and fall everyday, but only during the first week of May it will shine right in the Eye of Zul".
"The sun rises and fall everyday, but only two hours after his highest point it will shine right in the Eye of Zul".
With these clues in their hands they have all what is needed to locate the gem. But it is not over yet, since interpreting the inscriptions will not be easy...

FINALE

The group spent the following week trying to discover how to interpret the inscription, but the true solution came from a soldier of the ninth who explain that the troll were using the position of the sun during the year to give somehow the geographycal location of the gem.
With this idea in mind, the Fraternity succeed to locate the gem, they believed it to be located on the same island that they visited in the previous expedition.
And so they started their last expedition for the gem.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

They climbed the mountain of the island fighing the naga on their path and in the end they succeed to reach an ancient troll sanctuary.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

What they found there was astonishing: a wide space was in front of them, and in the very center of it, a lake. On the other side, an huge troll statue covered in vines was present, and its feet a huge naga was guarding the place.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

But at this point the group was fearless, after facing pirates troll all the feral beasts of Stranglethorn, this last creature was not a treath at all.
The druid of the group casted a powerfull spell, and in less of a blink of an eye, this giant beast found itself trapped.
The groupe explored the area and the statue, and soon realized that in the end they made it.
They cleaned the statue from the vines, and in one its eyes a giant ruby, carved with troll runes, was found.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

And so they made it. The Fraternity and those who helped them faced fearles all the threats of the jungle. And the reward was more then what they could have immagined.
They finally brought back the gem to Nortshire, while deciding what to do with it. But is this the end ? Or will the group, strong of its succees embark in an other dangerous journey in the search of something even more precious and mysterious?
Only the time will tell, from paladins to greedy thiefs, from mages seeking for excitement to those who just want to
keep the wolf from the door. The adventure welcomes everyone...
