Part of the speech djego gave tonight, I was writing it but then i noticed i had to log in xD so the last bit isn't on here, i wigged it in proper tss fashion

This is a tale of tragedy, of death, destruction and the fight against the shadow that looms over all of us.

It was a grim time back then, a few years ago, not to say that now isn't grim, but it was more dark grey to current times Mauve.

The fight for blackrock mountain was over, and the entire alliance was focused on just one thing, gathering Supplies, for trouble was coming in from the dark depths of Silithus and all eyes were fixed upon that tentacled mass of horror.

So far were the eyes and arms and hearts directed at the evils from the old gods, brazenly thinking that even though the homefront fight was far from won, and the kingdoms far from peaceful, We were overlooked.

With the Army, all the regional and communal forces focused on C'thun as a forty nameless heroes chased after their to forge the key to bring the fight towards this foul horrific doom, that closer evils ravaged the country side of previous rustic Elwynn.

With no guards, no soldiers, to defend the hard-working, hard-loving, hardened souls of Elwynn, they were hard pressed. their farms plundered, their villages raided, their sons murdered as their daughters were getting raped...

and let me tell you, no daughter deserves to be raped, they're gentle flowers that deserve to be carefully pollinated by the loving Bee called men.

Anyway, Who was doing these atrocities to the defenceless back-bone of our society, you might ask? considering I hear you wordlessly breathing the very thought!

Indeed! and I'll tell you who. The vast monstrous brutal savagery of the River-Paw, and their new Warchief. The great and feared.
Hogger Hoggerson the Third named after his father and his father before who might have been a demon that fornicated with the foul stench of an orc raised donkey..

Aye, months he terrorised, months he plagued. and that is where my part begins.

In fair Goldshire, a hive of scum and villany and cheap night-elven prostitutes. It was a dark night. a gloomy rainy night. And as the supple bouncing leather clad "Balloons" danced up and down infront of a brave mage his face, he entered.

A man in leathers, tattered as it were, grime, dust, sweat and coagulated blood on his face. All eyes turned towards him as he said:
"I found where he sleeps... I know where he makes his bed and mates with our daughters, ripping them apart by their very legs before having his way with them! But the guards aren't here, they dont have the men... they fear... they're weaving bandages for stormwind...!"

So what were we to do? Cower? Run and be driven away from our homes, our family, under this cloud of shadow, of darkness?

You can only run and hide so often, for the shadow rests for none, it knows no bounds, it's not restricted by morality, or friendship or family, it just feasts and feasts and feasts until there isn't even a shred of protein in your bones to call well... bones.

We can't run forever, we were men. in our prime, and by the light we weren't going to go down on all fours and drop our pants!

Fel no! We were men, we braised the Legion once! we Destroyed the Orcs! we Pummeled The Dark Iron dwarfs and nefarian! We were men of the light! and by Uthers Beard, We would stand and fight for what was ours!

And that is what I yelled, the then humble Stonehead mage apprentice.

And the tattered leathered man looked at me after my speech and he nodded, raising his arm and yelled! We're Mad as fel and we're not going to take this anymore!

TO WAR!

And before I knew it, I had raised Goldshire on a path to likely death.

twenty three men stood with me that day, I can still smell the peacebloom after the rain-drops...

Twenty three, brave fools, willing to be tenacious, to be compassionate, to be respectfull, but most of all, to be ready to stand up, and fight for their right to live.

for their right to say: Screw you Shadow, this is the last you will ever see of my spread-eagled form you will not fornicate with me like a two copper sheep anymore!

twenty three men went in the forest, lead by the leathered man called Arnir. His blue eyes steering us through the dense shrubbery...
and there beyond the river, beyond the trees a small clearing, with dense packed clouds around us.

He came...

Trembling, evil, axe and claw, the Gnoll chieftain, he was tattered in blood before we knew it. ripping open a small petite priestess with a friendly smile... Hoggerson Flew out of the shrubbery shouting something resembling NI!

just to disappear again!

ECKE ECKE ECKE it sounded.

KAPANG SING PUNG! It howled as he stormed out of the second shrubbery. but this time we were ready...

Twenty three entered that mournful day...

only 7 came out alive...
I cannot describe the horrors... the loss the heroics that happened that day... its just too hard to describe and to relive...
