Initiative: Community Mass.

Discussing with Thelos the nature of the Light has prompted me to act on something I have considered a lot recently. The Light is certainly role-played with applaudable variety on the server, but perhaps the guilds who role-play centred around the Light and even the unguilded individuals such as myself should commit to practising a somewhat regular Mass, perhaps weekly?
This would provide the community with another regular event, which I think could be a lot of fun!
I see it a bit like this:
One mass a week, each week perhaps featuring speakers from a cross section of the Light based guilds and individual role-players.
1. The Mass would start by preachers addressing the congregation, and providing a relevant and engaging sermon

4. Private confession could follow.
--Jean-Pierre will be leading Mass on Friday 27th April in the gardens behind Stormwind Cathedral, 21:00 (server time)

I fullheartedly support this and will do so actively trough any means I can. In fact, I have been planning to host a communal meditation session a an experiment, very much in lieu of this idea here. It certainly has the same kind of creative force behind it. This reminds me of an idea I've had for a while, we used to have a mass every now and then which was good for everyone getting to know each others characters so aye, I'm wholeheartedly behind this plan

The idea is that it can promote tolerance of other approaches to the Light too, and in that essence:

I'll speak with Corleth about that Velspeth, I'd say maybe as of now. He'd present a solid Mass as he has done many times before so if we where chosen to lead one I'd like him to do it. Fingers crossed he can!

Perhaps in the future we can hold masses at Shattrath also, if enough Hordies are interested.

I'd love to do a mass on the 20th, but it'd be in the Cathedral. The Abbey isn't so good for masses, specifically the Anethionean mass.
