By Lightless races, it means races without any capacity or affinity to 'the Light', such as murlocs, furbolgs, troggs, orcs, trolls...

The Draenei are clearly a Light-blessed race with a prophet of their own, however he is not their final prophet. Anethionean's believe they will one day recieve one of their own more in line with the Anethionean belief. I've used this example before I think, but it is similar to how Islam see's the other Abrahamic faiths as possessing of truth (i.e 'being of the Book'), but having been corrupted in some ways over time.

The tenth catechism of the Anethionean church, the unalterable concrete interpretation of how Anethionean's view other Light-worshiping races is: "Those who do their Sacred Duty are also beloved by the Light, their ways of worship are however inferior to the true Anethionean Faith. Those races who do not follow the Holy Light may one day receive a prophet of their own" - "If you do Sacred Duty (do good, combat evil and avoid selfishness) you are recognized as a believer (in the general sense), and deserve some respect." So, clearly, the Anethionean church does not believe Draenei to be living a Lightless existence.

Amusingly enough Thelos and the Naaruvada seem to treat Anethionism in the same light, only in reverse. They acknowledge Anethion as a Light-inspired Prophet and a channel trough which the Light has reached Humanity, but because it has been channeled by a Human and not a Naaru it is bound to be furthed removed and abstraced from the supreme Truth because it has been applied to a specific period in Human history and constitution. Corrupted in some way over time or in time if you will, as opposed to the Revelation of the Naaru, which is continous and physically present.

This sounds awefully familiar; isn't this the same argument Thelos used a few months ago to convince Lexgrad that he was still actually faithful to the Light in action, whether he realised it or not?

It was always how I RPed Lexy. Im just glad there are the odd patient RPers who can get past Lex's personality to see his cuddly interior. Only about 5 Chars have managed that :p

Was planning to have a lighty Lex running about telling the living about the virtues but perhaps a Naaru Lex could be interesting.

Why not have both?

The Naaruvada can establish a mission on the Archeus, either by being very pushy or by Lexgrad's invitation. Heck, I'd even send Thelos himself, or if you think it might make more sense to have an actual Death Knight, I can send one over too.
