He's been there since far before Cataclysm! It was just that he was inside a hut before!Raghtul wrote:Mnee, I suppose 'am not just a serious enough person. I do admit that it's indeed rather cheerful-like, but it's no 'vomiting rainbows' for me yet.
Also, Muzhjath, on a totally unrelated note, something I've been meaning to ask from you since Cataclysm arrived! What's your opinion on the Marogg named orc NPC in The Drag?!
Still, my Marogg is/was far cooler than a cook.

For a peace loving race, they sure cause a lot of grief and rage... I love them so much.

That's a reference from last year's Blizzcon when someone asked why the Alliance doesn't have a cool war cry.
That quote is what the panel came up with

Camp Taurajo, Kargath, Auberdine, the Park District and Southshore all got levelled pretty straight. The word choice certainly indicates that it isn't meant to remain a habitable place afterwards.

"blessed with companions uglier than you."
I'm not sure if I should be happy, or sad about that, as a belf that is.

Yea, but that all came with the expansion. This is just a world event. The most I can see happening is Theramore turning into another Menethil harbor to keep the zone questing capable. That is unless they either finally decide to update Dustwallow marsh, or it will all happen in an instanced area and everything will be just be lamely fine and dandy in the real world.Saevir wrote:Flo wrote:Am I the only one who puts questionmarks at the 'destroyed' part here? Unless blizzard is breaking with their current version scheme, 5.0 -is- the next expansion, in the same way that 4.0 was the cataclysm.

I was almost going to make an entry for that comparing, but then I realized that it could go on and on and on...
In conclusion; I really don't see Pandaren being way more childish and cuddlywuddly, when compared to rest of the WoW. More 'amusing' maybe, if something.

Gnome comes from a latin word for earth-dweller.
Gnomes, why you not in dirt?

My SECOND point now being, this is not the first time we have seen "cute" races in WoW. Or even childish, if they are that.

Re: Pandaren (And other stuff about the upcoming expansion)
I wasn't making my statement to make Pandaren seem silly, I was making the point that at the end it's blizzard and WoW is a cartoony game so everything will come out silly. Comparing a painting that's meant to be badass with a cartoony game model is like saying your lemons are bad cause your pears are sweeter. The lemons are just fine, because they're MEANT to be sour. Likewise, the gnome in Guldu's post is meant to look cartoony, mine was meant to look badass. His panda painting was meant to look badass, while mine was meant to look cartoony.
I only disagree with how the pandas are implemented, the story I've heard so far smells of Draenei 2.0 really, but I do to no extend think they're gonna be a comedic relief race or anything. I'm sure they'll turn out like Draenei, who I've grown to accept.

Re: Pandaren (And other stuff about the upcoming expansion)
Have to admit I'd enjoy playing a character that "isn't" some kind of musclebound escapism character, people managed to get used to the Gnomish and the Goblins so there should be no trouble getting used to Pandaren. Really hoping Blizzard don't cave into the ranting fans, and continue with the design they have for the Pandaren at the moment.
