It is likely we will bring Illidan back, not so much for Kael'thas, he already had his come back. Arthas's body is somewhere but we don't really know where.
Atleast they are bringing Illidan back!
As if they could make decisions even more stupid than the ones they already have.
Illidan was not a good character.

Recycling dead chars is something comic books and desperate forms of all entertainment use. And Blizz do it a LOT.

You get shit talk and harassment from your own faction, too. And there's always /ignore. The cross-faction communication barrier is retarded and pointless.
Agreed. Draenei who cant understand the orcs that taught them shamism yet in weeks learn common... The forsaken raising dead alliance soldiers who forget Common and learn orc...
Worst of all DKs who cant communicate with each other. Come on Blizz, we can ignore idiots, let us cross faction communicate.

Death should be a line that is only crossed one way imo. I would rather see new chars, but it seems that only RPers want to wait the year or so to develop them.

So much QQ! It's amazing in here! On another note, language barrier fair enough, doesnt stop us though so why complain? We have msn skype or even real id so whatever.
And reusing chars.. I don't mind as long as it sounds right, Illidan shouldn't come back, he's dead.. Bring Maiev in instead! She lacks the hunt and she's crazy!

I understand it as a game mechanic, it's vital.
But to have every char dying and coming back like it's nothing is silly.
Although it saves us from having more Varians.

Oh, and there's QQ because this is a marmite expansion, and Blizzard are making the game for 12 year olds.

Are you calling the Bible a desperate form of entertainment?
In all seriousness, though:
Lyniath wrote:Yes, but what's the average age of people you know who play?
50+25+21+21+21 / 5 = 27.6.

That question and answer about Illidan come from Blizzcon..
.. I so hope Blizzard will realise it's a bad idea and not go through with it.. but who knows, it's Blizzard.
And yeah just give us cross-faction language learning... I want to discuss professional tree-hugging with my Tauren fellow druids.

Its not going to happen, folks. They want World of Warcraft, not world of Diplomacycraft.
And before you argue that we can still wage war just as fine, maybe even with more passion and hatred for eachother if we can communicate: yeah, probably, but this isn't how Blizzard sees it. They do not want cross-faction communication because of the fear of cross-faction pve and pvp cooperation mostly, I think.
Again, not saying I necissarily agree, just representing Blizzard's point of view (I guess that makes me the Devil's Advocate?)

Re: Pandaren (And other stuff about the upcoming expansion)
Too lazy to read through all 25 pages, so I'm most likely echoing what someone has said already, but...
All WoW expansions have been rehashing old antagonists from WC3 so far (except for Cataclysm which brought back Deathwing from WC2). All expansions have been based around the same basic plotline; go to new unexplored lands and kill the bad-guy threatening the world. While MoP will be reintroducing a RACE from WC3, at least in the WoW context it's something new. Sure, the "new-unexplored-land" part is still there, but the focus is different. As I understand it, there will not be a cliché main antagonist to vanquish as much as the war between Alliance and Horde will grow more prominent in the story. The idea that Alliance and Horde finds the Pandaren paradise and ruins it kinda amuses me in a morbid way.
Some people have complained that this expansion focuses so much on introducing a specific race, but I say that's a GOOD thing. Again, it breaks the same old repetitive pattern. It will not stop the game from eventually dying, but it might add a few more years of good gameplay. I'm a bit skeptical about the new companion/pokemon system, but I see nothing wrong with the Pandaren at all. They may, after all, be the most original idea Blizz ever came up with for the Warcraft franchise; it was all basically Warhammer Fantasy Battle when Orcs and Humans first came out, and they have constantly been rewriting world lore ever since and clearly made shit up as they went along. No deeper thought behind it, I seriously picture Blizz spinning a fortune wheel to decide what to do next. Or, you know, something along those lines.
But they have managed to take old ideas and make them good in the past, and the drunk panda bears were a hit from day one back in WC3, so... I'm slightly excited. Most of all this just makes me giggle because it seems to piss off the self-proclaimed "pro" players so much. Apparently they have no problem with werewolfs and blue space aliens that also happens to be paladins, but Pandarens mean they can no longer keep their Serious Face on or take the game world seriously.
Well I am rolling a Pandaren Brewmaster. I am going to engage in silly RP with him. I WILL collect poke-pets just because OCD-must-see-all-game-content tells me to. And guess what, I am going to enjoy myself, because the game is what you make it, and if your love for WoW is based purely on what you think of the game expansions, then you are playing together with some pretty boring people. ...that said I am still going to phase WoW out in favor of SW:ToR, but that's mostly because I will then get to play with some year-long gaming buddies that never got into WoW. The fact that Bioware is involved instead of Blizz is just a bonus.
Tl;Dr: Holy shit, it's almost 2012 and we're still playing WoW!

I think such things and samurai bushido might fit better with Orc blademasters.
Bushido with glaives were actually the Demon Hunter death animation in WC3, and Nelves are vaguely based on such cultures...

Bushido isn't a move, it's a code of conduct. You might be talking about seppuku/harakiri. And Night Elves have partial japanese inspiration in their buildings, and korean inspiration in some of their dresses. Hanbok's that can be bought in Moonglade are korean formal wear.

I love you Mandui <3 . Would be cool to speak for the alliance and horde to speak to each other. But it would makes thing going pritty crap as well. Trolls and gankers would be more annoying as they would taught you and be abusive. Plus I enjoy the thrill at times not knowing what the hell the other faction is saying. I just say give more emote options that the other faction can see and under stand instead of so so makes some strange gestures.
