Thing is it is almost what your guilds chars dont do. Lets gay that the guards pull swords on a riot. Firstly the guards woud be stained with the shame (which would not be bad ic) But what if the DoL are near by? If they do nothing how would that affect their standing with others. would the blades watch as mercs and do nothing or assist the rioters? Or do the guards deal with the rioters softly leading to smashed homes and attacks on councilers and nobles?

Char wise I have rolled a revloutionary rather than a twilight cultist. He is totally up for being hanged if you can catch him.

The Alt issue, obviously i agree Amy, as does everyone and thanks for reinforcing it, though i do not think it needed doing.
So to reiterate,
Alts will only be used as and when any gaps need to be filled or as filler in an event, the whole point of an event if for our mains to move the story along for them personally, otherwise, why do we have mains?

I do not want the alts to be main characters or really have any responsibility at all, since lets face it, that would be pointless.

Also, great to here the cultists are in, and having real cultists do some damage is really what i was hoping for.

Now to the "we shouldn't structure stuff"

OK, we should never overly structure any event, since it is pointless, but that is not my intention. I am just throwing my ideas into the thread as to what i would love to see, and creating a buzz.

So once again, to reiterate

All i was trying to do was to spin ideas and create a buzz and excitement for what i think to be an ideal opportunity to make an event on actual lore blizz are giving to us. Not structure every move so no one has no say in what their char does, and if i actually ever gave that impression then i apologise

Now onto the personal circumstance issue,

So, to make this clear,

If you do not want any consequences for you character, or do not wish to partake in the event at all, whether through fear of consequences or just personal preference, that is -fine- by me.

Though lets face it, i am sure we can just work any issues related to that out.

And now to be frank.

I have noticed recently a rising trend in our RP community which disappoints me sometimes, and no, its not a major issue.
People seem to pick fault more with things in a harsh way and less people seem to want to organise than ever. Can you please be careful that when you wish to pick fault with something you do not do it in a way that demoralises the organiser before we have even began, because its totally vile. I'm not saying that's been done here, but I've noticed it more and more these days.

And i just want to make aware of an event we did a long time ago, that in my opinion was literally the highlight of our realm.
Theramore. People seem to forget this event was planned weeks, possibly even months, before it even happened, and it was that initial planning which got the people involved excited about the event enough in the first place to get it going. That excitement snowballed into the best RP event, and PvP ive ever seen on this server on that sort of scale.

So let me see some bloody excitement for a change ;p (granted theres loads in the thread and im just moaning like an old man.... damn... XD)

Anyway, i have 6 people on the list of people who do not mind getting their characters framed or suspicious in some way, not including TSSers or DoLers. So thank you to those who have.
There is a chance however that not everyone on the list is even affected directly, and the time at which they will be, will likely be totally random and up to the cultists at the time. Just to keep everyone surprised both IC and OOCly.

When done correctly and not pushed to silly extremes that would obviously jeopardize his/her life (see the convo about cultists being too loud about their evilness), the main should not only come out of this alive, but have his/her personality gain even more depth due to the experience.

It also depends on how much time I'll be able to spare and invest in this.

hmm its likley that when this happens.. my monrena being new to light stuff will probably be spendign a bit of time in the church when this all happens as at this point in her traning she would be interested in seeing what she can do from all sides thus putting her at risk of all this?

Doubtful, seeing as how draenei priests are not part of the human church in general.

You'd need a pretty close tie, which your char does not have.
