The Fight For Stormwind. (Cathedral)

Ok, we all know by now the current state of our old Stormwind RP hub, its basically Goldshire plus.

I don't know if anyone else shares my feelings on this, but i had many good times there, and in Stormwind in general. When Cataclysm came we were swept up in all the new things and pretty much left the Cathedral without a fight. Now it is unbearable to Roleplay there for the most part.

I am wondering if anyone else would be willing to consider an intiative in an attempt to make a hub out of it again, at the very least show the less "undesirables" how to actually RP in a clear way, and even if we cannot turn it back into a hub again it would be nice to put up a fight for it.

So with that, heres what i propose, and i would be happy to hear if anyone else is interested or not so in a plan.

If we were to organise RP hours on different evenings for the next few weeks, would any RPers be interested in showing up to the Cathedral district and randomly Roleplaying for an hour or so? i am hoping that if enough of us start coming back to the District regularly that we can either scare//ignore the less "desirable" or make RPers out of them (not that i think there is much chance, but we would do ourselves a disservice not to try")

Thoughts? comments? all welcome.

If i can gather enough interest i would be happy to organise things for the district and even Stormwind as a whole.

DoL could help with this. We have about 6 people who regularly show for the events atm, but could use more actual events so I welcome this.

I'll RP there with Rohwyn if I'm free on the nights you'd arrange. I miss being able to walk into Cath square and get decent RP.

But yes, if I'm able to be of help, I will, even though neither of my toons would have a reason to be in Stormwind O_o. I'll come up with something.

I will issue a most holy vicarial edict and enforce the will of heaven upon the Chapter and force them to do awesome RP around the cathedral!...and hope the new GM enforces it.

And will drop around on Sophyra, she does after all work 2 days in the cathedral ICly!

I will see if the Chapter can hold regular masses as well. We got tons of priests, might as well put em to work.

I say we just blow it all up... And move them to Goldshire where they belong!

But I understand that when a long time used hub/meeting place/etc is over-run by subjective sub standard RP then the simple
solution is to teach and mold as opposed to divide and conqueor...

Although if you guys /w them to /pvp up, I'll have agents of the Hand on point ready to "..cut the weeds to let the lawn flourish"
