I'm pretty sure that they'd offer a free first-time customization for all your existing characters, would they end up finally updating them models. Which I'd really like. I haven't really grown attached to any of the existing ones and would definetly want to see them pimped up. Besides goblins, of course. They're quite adorable. As for updated models, I would like some savagery for trolls and orcs, but I still wouldn't want them drift too far away from the general cartoon-ish look of WoW.

Or heck, even small changes to existing models so that you could mess around with height/weight, tattoos, scars (even if those are ever-so-cliched) and other small things like that.

Really? I thought Draenei couldn't be rogues? Are there any other spells besides Kick that use a Kick animation at the moment?

Rebuke used to use the kick animation to interrupt, it doesn't anymore though.

Edit: If you have wow model viewer you can check the animations there.

Area 52 Transporter on a rogue character sure used to be handy to make that happen...for rogue tauren as well.

All races have animations for all spells in the game files, if there's a cast animation associated with it (to clarify, there's not individual animations for spells, but there's an animation for every ability archetype. Meaning, forexample, 2h special, 2h attack, 1h special, 1h attack, dualwield attack, offhand special, shield special, spell cast, spell channel, kick, unarmed attack/special and all that) so if any player model can cast it, there's an animation for all the races for it.

Also, for tauren kick and stealth, just get the quest in TK from the old Black Temple attunement. The one where you get a broken one disguise. Broken draenei have the same animations as tauren so what you see as broken is what you'll see as tauren, just furrier.

Yes, there's a couple of quest abilities where you use kick animations.


As far as Draenei monks go... The Auchenai had them. We don't need no stinking pandas to train us.


Also, draenei can kick forward just fine. Kicks aren't about 'swinging' your foot, that's silly and would break your footbones. Typically it's more of a 'jab', aiming to hit with either the ball of your foot (for a front kick) or the heel (for a side kick). Draenei legs can still do that.

I'm just going to assume Karabor had those, too. Only bright and cheerful and stuff with rainbow colors and happy sunshine punches.

Mind you I never argued that Draenei cannot perform kicks. Just not in the same way as models/creatures with normal humanoid legs. Because, you know, they're different. I thought that ment they would not be able to kick foward, but I have since been corrected. Its still different, though, and that was the important part.

I lost my list with belf npc's so can't quick check if there are any Belf monks somewhere.

Maybe it's magic but cast by body movement and internal focusing, instead of finger wiggling and chants.
