Dar, from how I read it they can't use Melee weapons anymore. And I take that as can't equip them.

Also, so people know. For Muzjhath that would have been awesome since ICly her bow had blades on it and she used it in melee, but for many characters it very much does suck.

Someone in this thread said you could still carry them, just not use them in combat. I'm keeping my hopes up. Will be ... interesting to RP suddenly loosing the capability to fight with them, though. I'm still not sure how to explain the loss of mana ic'ly.

It wouldn't make sense to take the capability to wear melee weapons away from hunters anyways. I mean, warriors can use staves right? The way I understood it, they'll simply slot ranged weaps in your main hand so you can't wear a melee and a ranged weapon at the same time.

I'm still really cynical of this xpac, but I think mostly because every idea blizzard have had for a long time (save several parts or wrath) have failed to excite me. Cataclysm felt like a waste of money for me to buy.

That's how I've been rolling since wrath. I'm just disappointed at what people who actually play the game will have to go through.
