It was difficult, at times, to roleplay a guild with a preestablished structure and an in game leader. High Lord Tirion is the master of the Argent Crusade, but since Cataclysm he doesn't actually do anything. Well, apart from standing in the Hearthglen throne room and shouting out some motivational phrases to bypassers.

Of course, back in the day we all got our orders from Eloresh, but he in turn (as the IC explanation was) got them from Tirion. Their meetings must have been somewhat... Awkward...

I know this was more than a month ago... but today I started to read all up the comic pages I had missed, and this really made me laugh. Keep it going, Silferdrake, you've got what it takes to bring us all a smile reading your comics.

PS: You can't imagine how awkward those meetings used to be...

If the original Argent Crusade would still be running this would be awesome recruitment

In game Orthur actually joined the Argent Crusade as a full member, but while bouncing back and forth between different guilds makes sense out of character it would be quite hard to explain while some characters leave the order to do some other stuff and reapers later. As such, I decided that Orthur will instead be associating with the crusaders as a freelancer, giving him a good reason to hang out with them every once in a while, but also explaining his absence during certain events.

In either case, Orthur and the Barons interactions, amusing as they may be, will take a break for a few comics, giving me time to make some random silliness before we jump into the next arc.

Unfortunately, considering the nature of online roleplaying, it happens every once in a while that people you've played with simply vanish. Some quit, some simply join other guilds. Nothing wierd with it, OOCly, that is. In character, it's quite strange considering that the vows for the Argent Crusade made you a crusader for life. Simrael and Caroline was some of the Baron's closest friends, which made their sudden and surprising departure quite... difficult, to react two. It is in fact the reason why the two of them are barley in the comic, since it would be strange to present two major characters only to have them vanish out of thin air.

Oh! And next week, I'll be making my return to World of Warcraft. Dip my feet into the waters a bit before MoP is released. What's the RP scene like? What guilds and characters are still around? And is there any guild who would welcome a tired ex-warlock?

Gasp! Also, back to Warcraft eh? I'll see you there! - There's several guilds really, just dip a look into the registry.

Lex is still about, tho he has hanged up the runeblade and living the clean life, no more soul eating for him. Needs a new friend too as the last one died : /

There are a few cults moving around killing people. Other than that i do not really know. There is Mistmantle and Drakenrise from Noble households. Freelancers are explorers. Violet City is Dalaran/Kirin Tor based guild. Blades are around but i can't imagine Baron doing -work-. DoL and Holy Lightbringers still alive.

EDIT: A good idea would be to Join the Kingdom of Stormgarde. They will greet you "warmly", 'traitorous' Alteracian.

Infact we have Alteracians in KoS

And I believe Adenah and Sharyssa both know the baron, so he will of course have contacts to join!

I shall at the same time promote Drackenrise as my (our) noble guild which would be grand to welcome Baron Silferdrake!!

What is this "work" you speak of? It sounds rather nasty, and it probably involves getting your cuffs stained with dirt...

Well, if dibs has been called there's not really much to do, is there? Stromgarde would be rather fun, since it has a nice mix between allies and foes. Might make for some interesting RP. Perhaps the Barons first journey upon his return (ICly he's been hiding in Booty Bay since the Alterac project failed) shall be to Stromgarde then.

You'll happily see that KoS is staying (permanently) in Stormwind at the moment due to IC reasons and ofc OOC the gankers that were around ^^

Excellent. Stormwind is quite where I belong. It is the only place with enough taverns for my "la vida loca".

Great! I'll make contact upon my return. ICly the Baron would need to be brought up to speed as well, considering news would have been hard to come by during his self-imposed exile (that is, he's been paying alot more attention to umbrella decorated tropical drinks than to rumours ).
