Re: Requiem of a Warlock
Well folks, it's that time again:
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It's been a while since I took a crack at the WoW mechanics in the comic. Finding something you need in WoW-land is very easy. Not only is the quest item you need highlighted with sparkles, it's also usually the only item of its kind that you can grab. If only real life were a bit more like this, taking care of your shopping list would be very easy.
I've been playing Mist of Pandaria for a while now and so far it has surpassed my expectations a fair deal. I look forward to seeing if it will hold up in end game, and how the Pandaren will affect the RP in Stormwind.

As Alexandra I must confess it is always a tremendous honor to see how you portray my character and keep surprising me. Now she is far more accurate than before and it's always so amazing to see how you develop the storyline with 50% truth and 50% pure comedy.
I just read all the pages I hadn't yet and I laughed to the point of tears, seeing Alexandra was motive for a great nostalgia but then again, it truly was a wonderful time for us all, wasn't it? I'm really glad that you have managed to keep on going with the comic and I'm sincerely proud of you!
Keep up the good work!
PS - Be careful with what follows this moment xD!

Naww, very touching ! I'm really glad you like how I portray Alexandra. It's always tricky to use others characters in a story you're telling, especially when you're not 100% true to the source material. I try to make my own interpretations of how the characters would act in situations we didn't actually play through while putting them in to humorous and/or silly situations without making them seem ridiculous, but it's still very important to me that they remain the characters you and the others played. That's why it means alot that you read and approve of the comics.
Alexandra's main story arcs has not yet begun though. And since I think you know what they'll be about you can probably guess that they'll be a bit hard to portray in comic form. I shall do my best though, and I hope you'll enjoy them when it's time ^^.
And yes, the Argent Crusade really were something, wasn't it?

It was, as was the Legacy of Dawn, and I see plenty of ways for you to find some "comic" material on what's to come, if you need ideas just poke me, I'm more than glad to help out.

You know, I might just take you up on that .
Anyway it's time for a new arc (or rather the Baron getting the Grimoire of Dark Secrets kicks of the plot that has been brewing for a while) and as such I wanted to give you a sneak peak on what this next chapter will be about.

When you make bargains with demons, sooner or later you'll end up regretting it. During this arc I will try to explain some of the Barons backstory without using a lengthy flashback. I will also try to give this chapters villains such as Ophelia, the Succubi Grand Duches in exile, a bit more characterization than previous foes have had.

Very well, let's continue our story, shall we?

I felt the need to point out that the reason for Ophelia wanting the Baron's soul was not because it was special in any way, but rather that she has had dibs on it for quite some time.
See, when playing a good old pen and paper rpg it is often encouraged to think of your characters as being special, and since it's usually like 5 or less PCs in a pen and paper game it doesn't make things weird, they're the heroes after all.
When roleplaying in an MMORPG however it becomes a bit silly if 1000+ players have their characters being the last of their kind, the chosen one or something like that. Not that it stops people from doing it though...

In a way, yes. The exact details of their pact will be revealed later on.
Anyway, here's the next part:

Don't you just hate it when good reading material is completely drowned by adds? Well, I work with advertising so I'm a part of the problem, but still :p.

No. I call myself the warlock . Not sure why, but I always get fel and fell wrong, "fell" feels a bit more like "hell" I suppose.

I'm not sure Blizzard would be entirely happy if I was paying people to create stories about their universe . Not that I wouldn't mind an assistant though, that tea isn't fetching itself...
Oh, and here is the next part of the comic, enjoy:

That silly Baron. Making promises he won't keep is beginning to become one of his trademark techniques.
