A proposal

Silently they walk down the stairs into the Trollbane crypt. Anaei at the front, Faralan following closely as asked of her. His entire being is filled with stillness, respect and pride as he slowly ventures down the stairs, knowing that the royal bloodline of Arathor rests down here, same feeling each time. An honour to be among such great men and women.

As they reach the bottom level, Anaei stops and turns around to Faralan, she smiles gently, reaching for his hand.
Faralan sweeps his eyes across the vault before looking down at the young princess, he returns the smile.

"This crypt is our family vault. It is where all Trollbanes rest. All Kings, Queen and their families rest here."
Anaei looks into Faralan's eyes, speaking softly and gently.
"My mother will rest here. I will rest here, and so will Arador. Only Trollbanes are permitted down here."
A light squeeze of his hand is made as she speaks the next sentence.
"Do you realize what I am implying?"
Faralan blinks, taking the moment in. He nods softly.
"Aye.. I.. I do."
Anaei smiles brighter.
"So that is a yes?"
"Aye, 'tis a yes! O' course I want tha', though I 'ad wanted t'ask yer mothers blessin' an' approval first."
Anaei giggles softly as she replies.
"This was all her idea. A tradition."

An hour or so later, after a long quarrel between Nilda Meyrick and the princess herself, Anaei. Faralan stands in the chapel with Anaei, holding her hand, they're just about to depart from eachother for the day as she says;
"Faralan Trollbane.. Doesn't sound bad."
