I've been giving some thought to events that the Jewel might host in addition to our regular nights. In the past we had a successful fashion show (a la Kazka, Master Tailor of Kazka, Nooze & Bazoo), but I would love to hear from those people who frequent the Jewel or who would want to attend an event in Dalaran.

What kinds of events would you like to see at the Jewel?

A few ideas I have milling around:

--Another fashion show.

--A poetry reading. (More interesting than it sounds - those who wished could prepare IC texts that shed some insight into their culture, and we could gather to listen over brandy and fine wines.)

--A lesson in Tanarisi dance from the Lady Vale.

--A culinary evening, with dishes from a certain culture - or a sampling from various cultures - with accompanying music and entertainment.

Thoughts on these ideas are more than welcome, but also... what would all of you like to see as events?

Oo, nice. In the past I had an idea about making a freakshow. It must be here on the forums somewhere. It could be excellent to do that at the Jewel so both alliance and horde rp'ers could contribute alts for it.

No freakshow in Dalaran unless they are magically created! Dalaran is a refined city that can do without!

The freakshow idea sounds hilarious! I'd like to see that somewhere, even if it's just a travelling thing around Azeroth rather than only inside Dalaran. Sort of like the Darkmoon Faire does.

How full are the sewers nowdays, I'd imagine a freakshow fits in there.

And on topic. Anything you'd do with Dalaran sounds like a good idea, cause it's a lovely place for roleplay eversince Cata.

An awesome idea, Darilas, though I do think the sewers might be better suited than the Jewel if it came to that. The sewers need more attention, anyway, they're an awesome place to RP.

I most likely won't come, due to festival being in town! However the weather isn't promising. I'm torn what to do.

Be a man! Get out in that rain! When I was in holiday in England one year, it suddenly started to rain. You could tell who was Scottish. They walked on regardless while the English hid in shops.

On topic, I shall trryyyyyy and come by. Some of my guildies may turn up, they seem interested too now.
