Regarding Dalaran

Hello folks, this is a fairly simple topic. I'm wondering who RPs in Dalaran, or RPs a character from Dalaran, for two reasons.

Firstly, I run the Jewel each Thursday, and am curious to see what other events I might be able to arrange that are more Dalaran-centred.

Secondly, I know there are several people who RP connections to the Kirin Tor, and with the recent beginning of Vezullia's arcane conclave, it seems to me it might help to know who each other are.

For myself, I of course have Valerias who resides in Dalaran as a courtesan and is, I would assume, involved in the life of the city in other ways, too. Also I very occasionally play Lord Gerard Aislingall, a Kirin Tor mage with an obsession for research, and I'd be happy to get in touch with other mage-types.

Saevir resides in Dalaran, though he spends much time in Silvermoon as well as traveling wherever his work takes him.

The Baron still maintains a few contacts in the city of the magi since he studied there in his youth. If he had reason to he would visit more often as he enjoys the atmosphere (and a bit of certain other things xD).

Aishling doesn't really have the urge to go there, as it's mostly arcanemagic. She however does look for books that have been banned by Silvermoon over there to study magic and find minds that think likewise. The jewel is nice, but I think we need some more magic oriented events there.

My alts are centered around the Jewel but available for Dalaran RP on request.
- Christelle, a 'dedicated' servant of the Jewel
- Kazka, the Gnome tailor extraordinaire.

Two characters of mine that would regularly be in Dalaran:
- Julia Angelos, due to magical studies
- Caliara for the simple reason that she loves the city

My mage Adenah has spend an entire year or more in Dalaran for studies untill recently, she still goes there and is IC'ly known with many magisters and whatnot because of her contacts and stay there.

Well, I'll have an opening for my mage in Dalaran soon enough. Beyond that though, I imagine that my warlock, Eothan, will be residing there for quite some time, in the near future. And you already know about my potential plans there xD

I like Dalaran, but I think the RP should remain casual there. Planned evenings n' whatnot.

Sylvina spends quite alot of time in Dalaran now because of her work in Lord Althaerons office.

Mori goes for the upper class atmosphere of the Jewel. Where she can be as upper class and poncy as she used to be until she got bored and ran of to be a pirate. XD

My mage hangs around some times. Lady Lyliath Ashford can sometimes be seen crawling around looking for new materials for her experiments. If there's a fire in the city, she's involved.

I agree. It helps to know what kinds of people visit the city, so that anyone wanting to make an event would have an idea who they're catering to (besides just saying 'mages durrr').

Yes, that would be really nice to see! I don't have any particular plans at the moment, but hopefully this thread will spark some ideas among those with an interest in magic / Dalaran.
