A whispered rumour along the mage-tower of Stromgarde:

Mage 1

Did you see that? The Atir-magan been fighting a worgen on the top floor. Shattered alot of shelves and windows there, and the girl that was lifeless on the floor? Seems like it was too late for her, maimed to pieces she was?

Mage 2

I heard the Atir-magan himself been taking care of her injuries after that worgen fled, did he not wear the colours of those Ravenholdt assasins?

Mage 1

Just like the girl, was hard to tell beneath all that blood.

Mage 2

Doesn't look good, as if we needed more hostility from those folks.

Townsfolk, wanderers, homeless and thugs of Westfall speak of a strange person robed, cloaked, hooded and masked out in the plains killing livestock, performing dark rituals, attacking the elderly and summoning nightmarish creatures. It seems there is little similar with each telling of the tale though one thing remains constant, someone or something strange is lurking in Westfall. Some who claim to have seen him say that he was more a withered husk than a man, others tell you it's a rogue demon terrorising the region. One thing is clear, those who travel Westfall at night seem weary and panicked.

Four of those Anethionean Knights... Shadowbreakers, I think, and their Abbot were screaming at some house in the Cathedral district earlier... apparently some possessed warlock or something had locked himself in there with a Gnome, they got inside.. but that house ain't go a door any longer... Thank the Light we still have a force of justice to rely on in this city...

"They say that the warlock was just a simple sorcerer from the Mage Tower, and that the Chapterian Shadowbreakers just accused him of being a possessed warlock, he tried to take refugee in the house, apparently the gnome was just a kind soul trying to prevent the mage hunt."

Rumor heard in both Stormwind and Stromgarde:

I heard young Trollbane and Angelos became parents very early this morning. Twins, could you imagine? Seem to be a trend in the Trollbane line. That Calath really is a copy of his mother. She was there to by the way, helping Julia through it.

An Anethionite shot a fella' yesterday in the Cathedral Square, pointed a gun at a second then punched a law-enforcer... after the preaching of the Bishop being gone, what are we meant to think!?

One of them Witch-Hunters tried reprimanding an alleged shadowmancer that tried to flee after questioning last night, yet some Disciple loyal to the Church tried to stop the witch-hunter in doing his Sacred Duty! That ammounts to blasphemy, y'know... can you believe it... the Church of the Holy-Light are unable to keep track of the Archbishop, and now they are allowing shadowmancers to walk the streets.

Yeah! Did you see those two vigilantees trying to stop him? The poor man was dragged off, after had been shot. So this greenbeard gnome and dark skinned fellah attacked the Chapterian, I heard! Apparently that Chapter's going the same way the Arch-Bishop did, madness and corruption.

When they attack people openly on the streets -again-, like last year. You know that there's no good with keeping them around!

(Wouldn't Umbramancer or something like that, fit the trend of Pyromancer and Cryomancer better? Even if the use of mancer is a bit.... off here.)

(Shadowmancer works as a blanket term for any shadow-using magic user. That includes shadowpriests, warlocks, shadowmages, dark inscribers, death knights, and necromancers. I typically use shadowcaster instead, though.)

(I would prefer Skiamancer, since Umbra is actually Latin and not Ancient Greek like "Necro", but that's nitpicking to the maximum)
