I think the 20 spot Kharazan ball-thing is a good idea. That way it'll be an actual exclusive ball only the richest and most noble can attend. And they have to battle each other for tickets and buy tickets. You should write yourself 20 letters and print them out, those can be your tickets. And spread them to nobility / rich folk, and have some for an actual sale.

With regards to security & entertainment, wonder if the following might work for the evening?:

A Master of Arms - In charge of the security within & without of the function. Any incidents (whether pickpockets or horde invaders) to be handed over to and dealt with sharply by him/her and his staff. Jayse/Coladan... Maybe this might suit?

A Master of Ceremonies - A Simon Cowell type >> << who would be willing IC to round up a bevy of talented performers and waiting staff from around the world. Elloa this would be your ticket in

Raids do have, above the usual quantity limitation of 10 or 25 people also a level limitation of 68. Also, as much as I love the ambiance of places like Black Temple and Karazhan. I don't like the idea of holding IC meetings in two of the most dangerous places that exist in this world.


Thumbs up for the idea of the ball. I fully support a ball. They're ace and posh. Two values in life I can appreciate.

In my opinion, the more space the better. While in a real life situation an elegant ballroom would be wonderful, in game terms, that just makes for a lot of spam. A central location for the entertainment, etc, is of course necessary, but the chance to spread out - and thus have conversations - will make people happier and the event last longer.

That said, perhaps a place like Darnassus with inside/outside possibilties?

I'm just wondering what you had in mind for the event to be, Cali (and basically, if Rohwyn as Stormwind Minister of Health ought to be there, since she has nothin' to do with foreign affairs!).

The original idea was for the councils to meet in a social setting. So that the Ministers from each Nation could 'check out' their opposite numbers. Maybe setting up useful future contacts or even discovering that they loathe how things are done abroad.

Any Councillor would be welcome, and if you RP as representing some aspect of another Nation or Organisation then this might be something for you too. Feel free to throw me a pm or nudge in-game to talk it over

I've checked out a couple of locations so far, been off for a couple of days though with some RL celebrations ^^ but back to organising this week.

Theramore Isle has looked the best so far: Infirmary, kitchens, cellars, hall with a stage, local pub, working training grounds and so on.

Pencilling in 2nd Sept so far, a Thursday night. Bound to clash with something, but hopefully nothing that can't be worked around.

On several mailboxes (and in several languages) the following note has been nailed. Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to get involved.
