[A]: Charity Ball

*These letters have been littered around Stormwind in select Inn's, taverns and points of intrest. As well as being hand delivered to members of the "House of Nobles".*





OOC Information: So! Myself and a few others have decided to hold a Charity Ball raising money the people of Westfall. They are after all in dire need of it after the cataclysm! The event is open to everyone nobles and peasents alike, anyone who would wish to attend my do so whether its to improve your public image by showing you will be generous aid the kingdom, or whether its just because you want to get dressed up and have a dance. I realise I haven't put a location on the letter as thats still up in the air. Its being decided today, either Dalaran or Stormwind. Transportation will be provided to Dalaran if you should need it. As soon as I have a set location I'll let you know ASAP. As far as entertainment gioes that is also still undecided! However we will most likely be performing an "Auction" of sorts with a select few auctioning themselves off for dates! What a better way to raise money for charity huh? I'll keep updating the more information I have.

Depending on the turnout it might be interesting to split the commoners from the nobles, by giving them a separate room. In a mood of overwhelming generosity, the nobles have decided to grant the peasants a chance to celebrate as well... within the respectable confines a smelly shed next to their glorious ballroom.

The nobles could then have a room to toss in the remnants of their splendid apetisers (like a peasant would feed a pig) as further proof of their kindness and enduring efforts for these... lesser people.

Some peasants could try to sneak their way in to steal some of the better food. Others could stare in envy as one beautiful gown after the other passes by them without granting them even recognition of their existence.

Maybe I'm taking it a step too far But it would be quite how I imagine the old times to be.

I can come as either a plain commoner or a more respectable commoner.

Like the Idea JP. It just as you said depends on turn out and numbers. Its something to think on ^_^

I'll do a bit of debating and see whether I can attend! I've a few characters that would most likely show their face at an event such as this. Problem is, it falls on my birthday. But I'm not sure how likely it is I'll be going out to ruin my liver on a monday.

Either way, these events are usually enjoyable! So best of luck.

Bump Location is decided. "A hero's welcome" in Dalaran. Transportation will be provided if you need it on the day. Just whisper Melódy in game and I'll provide it. <3

And we have decided to introduce gladitorial combat to entertain our guests!

But yes it seems with a majority vote by those who are organising this Dalaran is the chosen destination.

For those who will seek portal transport please feel free to whisper myself (Eíra with the funny í) Melódy or if you can't for the sake of it do accented letters just whisper Valerias or even Genevieve who's accents I cant recall and a summon or portal will be arranged with portals of an IC nature happening behind the cathedral closer and around 20:00 server time.

Feel free to register signups if you or yourself want to be put up for the human auction in the name of donations to the people of Westfall with Melódy/Celeste. This entitles the one being auctioned to be one lucky girl or boy's date for the night and possibly on days to follow if things work well for them!

Also @ The blade for hired folks. If one of you wants to contact me soon, I do not know who is in charge of the lot again as I assume its you Kitrinna. Anyways feel free to poke me for arrangements ingame or PM.

And to clarify once again the location will be a Hero's welcome in dalaran. It's the alliance side bar with the beer garden out back for any thirsty dwarves.

Portals are going up and summons for anyone who requires them, whisper myself, Valerias, genevieve or Melódy if required.

Apologies to the guys who set this up, but i can't log in to enjoy it having to cook tea for the family, again... apparently, I need the practice... bah.
