Partridge, Renhali and Bennedict (?) were kick-starting guard-trainings before Renhali got kidnapped by exams. You might want to talk to them unless you prefer to start from scratch.

I'll poke around and have a word with folks about it. I imagine I'll take what I can from them and put it all together into a nice ball of guard training goodness.

Awesome. I will do it, then.
Another thing about those who play guards solo: where do they take people that are arrested?

That I'm still not certain about, since I've come into this position quite recently and things might have changed. I'll do my best to have the guidelines up by tomorrow in draft form and in this area, I'll include areas arrested criminals can be taken.

Criminals such as thugs, thiefs and general low-life are to be locked within the Command Center 'detention' center underneath, or Westbrook keep until trial or escape (Lets face it, its a common practice.)
Criminals such as cultists, deranged fanatics such as CF, and other master overlords of PURE EVIL are to be locked in the same places (Including the SI:7 HQ if permission is given by the Stormwind Intelligence) until a suitable escort is formed to take them to a high security prison facility to await trial. (Valiance Keep, Wintergarde Keep)
Naturally, guards who play solo should request assistance from others if need be and I am sure such would be provided!

What happened to that idea with the council having an open house at Mondays and Fridays (I think) to listen to problems that people had?

I think that was Theonar's initiative, and he isn't on the council anymore. Though people do correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah was Theonar's (I still call him Karthan ) initiative, although I don't see why it shouldn't be held at least once every week as to spare the council meetings of all the usual drama that takes up the time.

Mm well, it would require some/a councilor(s) having the time to do it -- and considering all the requirements on them both IC and OOC, on these forums for example. I'd be surprised if they had the time. Though frankly I did like the idea too, and if it were possible to continue it, yeah!

under the comand center in the basment in effect -- cant say that i've been caught by a Stromwind gaurd. it may be worth talking to< The Forlorn Cartel> as we normaly have members get caught for this and that. ( but we are getting better) we wont be able to tell you what it like playiong gaurd but more then likly would share what it like on the other side of that stick.

Re: The confusion around guards in SW
I have a friend in the Cartel that I already discussed this with briefly last night. My plan is that I shall involve the other side to OOC so everyone is having fun. If one of you would be in custody or jail, for example, I would put someone there to guard you. Beat you up a little, give you some food and be uncomfortable to you, maybe.
I am really open for discussions with the criminals on how to make this work, once I have made forums I will invite you to a group there and we can bring up all issues in that. How does that sound? Or would it be easier to make a thread for us here? Make a raid group in-game and talk about it live, maybe?

I'd go for opening a new thread, 10 people talking at the same time sounds rather chaotic to me.

Ledgic/Omanos wrote:1) I'll reply to the feedback regarding the law when I've got some time, I've a lot more free time on my hands after today. Also, I'll be posting a draft of the revised laws once I get round to taking a look at it. I didn't write the current set, merely made a few suggestions.
2) Yes, I had every intention of posting the draft of those guidelines both to the council and publically, so you'll see a copy of them in this section when I've completed them.
Any updates?
