Have you ever been reading a lorebook or wowwiki and just gone, "Really? I never knew that." I have! So I decided to make a thread about it, sure some of us will be absolutely stupid and be like, "OMG GARONA HALFORCEN 'HALF' 'ORC' OMG!" Yes, I bet some of us did.

I was really confused with Highborne.. And was confused to find they were Night Elves not High Elves, as I assumed Highborne was anouther word for Helf xD

There is no physical difference between Blood Elves and High Elves.

I would had loved Nelfs like that, savage and stuff with axes and fortresses and shit.

Yeah, there's even more of it in the WC3 Collector's Edition Art Book. I'll see if I can get scans once I get access to it back at my other place.

Poor NElves were pretty much ruined with WoW imo. They were a lot more interesting before that.

In WC3 they still had atleast some of their military feel and such.
In WoW they became generic tree hippy elves. Pfwfhhh. Atleast dwarves remain awesome.

In WoW they really haven't, our rp community plays them well. The Winterblades are zealout military soldiers and the Perogitive are ruthless. Natures grasp is more welcoming of everything but still military. Maybe Lore screwed them, but our Nelf community plays them well.
