Good evening ladies and gentlemen of Defias Brotherhood,

I think it's time to have a sit down with you all and show you the cause behind the maddness of the Voice.

A while past I had an extra account through an accident and decided to do something fun with it, a little bit of propaganda. Something I regularly recieve PMs praising. I have no 'ooc vendetta' against the Dwarven Community. In fact I rather enjoy their rp. I have no past disgruntles from them but my motives are the following.

Take something the community is targetting politically. I.e: The Dwarves who have backed themselves in my opinion into a corner. ICly of course, as the two should never mix.

I've made propaganda for the good of the 'Grand Alliance'. I notice the Chapter are not punished for just as much zeal. (Not that they should be.)

Why reveal myself? Why spoil the fun? If the Dwarves are truly and utterly offended, i'm sorry but tough. It's a hard life, it's all in good fun however, by all means challenge my words. Launch anti-propaganda. However if for example all the dwarves made kissy face and we all united again i'd very swiftly move on to a new target. Perhaps the Stormwind Council has launched sanctions on Duskwood again? Arathor refuses to lift the bridge ban and make peace? Right now i'm making the transition from Ironforge to Chapter.

So for all those who weep and moan that i'm some ooc troll who is trying to ruin the image of the Dwarven Community. Grow up. It's a game, it's all good fun. If you dislike it, don't use the forum. If you dislike the 'ic drama/ooc conflicts' don't make them. Don't mix ic and ooc. And if you really can't stand any of this Blizzard offer a realm transfer for the cheap price of 20 euros.

Just thought i'd get this straight.

I agree completely on not taking things ooc, just recently there was a small spat about taking ic -> ooc and it didn't go well. To be honest, I think people need to relax and realise that this -is- a game, but that's just my two cents.

I highly support this message.

The voice posters are IC. React to it IC. Let your chars react to it. Don't see it as ooc attacks on you the player. It's an ic attack on your fictional char. See it as an rp oppertunity and use it to your advantage and have fun. Wasn't it said that rp can not live without conflict?

Anyway this counts in general btw. I find it a big dissapointment that so many react on ic events ooc instead of ic and use the rp potential.

how can bias be judged to be present or not if we dont know who the hell it is?

i will revert to my previous question...

if the individual known as "the voice" is not a bias propaganda artist with previous greivances hell bent on influencing Dwarven RP as an outsider, they have nothing to be afraid of in revealing themselves.

if they are the above... well obviously a dam good reason they wouldnt say who they are.

I have every intention of revealing myself in good time. I wish to drag this out, have some fun. Which is what I will do. I do not bow to childish fools who want their own way like a spoilt brat. By all means Mods, give me a warning for such language. But I really dislike bullies.

It doesn't matter. As the post is IC. OOC opinions about the voice statements are irrilivant as the voice statements are ic. And not ooc. If you wanna react to it IC. Make letter addressed to the voice ic or counter flyers or something. DOn't go rant about it ooc. It's silly.

Krogon. Drop it. I'm not doing it. I'm hardly hiding when many know my identity. The mods know it so they know who to punsih if I go over the line. They've seen no one but you doing so.

Seriously Seiken....the voice is IC critizing the Dwarven Chars. And you twist and turn in it into him OOC bullying the players behind the dwarves. It's really silly. Don't take it so personal.

...he's making DRS look bad Ic'ly, while hiding Behind an alt forum account. and last thread i checked DRS didnt seem too pleased.

perhaps the voice should switch servers if 'he' isnt so happy with DRS focused rp, instead of encouraging me to do so when i point out what 'he' is doing ;o

Erm....look bad IC yes. So why would they take it ooc and feel ooc bad about it? Besides in my opinion they then should take action IC and make some IC counter attack to defend their reputation. Instead of mopping about it OOC.

Right Seiken. I will say this one final time. As I am getting tired of repeating myself. You are taking a IC matter OOC. And that's ruining an nice rp oppertunity and ruining the atmosphere of these forums. So I tell you now to drop this issue. If you do not. You will get a bann.

Krogon is making some good points imo actually. The whole Voice thing is quite good RP wise but then its sort of lost when 'neutral' moderators and some other chaps come along to corner some people.

So essentially Krogon is right, its just giving some people a good opporunity to bash others on a daily basis. Some say its just a game, dont take it too seriously, yet some of their comments counter this.

Some people are getting irritated as well in the DRS, but instead of telling them what to do I think you should respect their opinions.
