Things you Never Knew!

In the same spirit as 'lore facts you never knew'.

This one is about stupid things that you never knew in the sense of WoW.

For example,

I never knew there was a log-flume ride in Grizzly Hills!

...Maybe make it "not necessarily WoW related things you never knew"?

I never knew slow fall skydiving could be so addictive.

After playing since lauch (Almost 6 years), I only just realised a few days ago that it's the "Grimtotem" tribe and not "Grimetotem" tribe...

There's an NPC in the Exodar called "Worker" who strolls back and forth between the First Aid trainer and the Mage trainers. Initially I thought he was neglecting his work, but after following him for one of his tours I noticed he goes to the Mage trainers to get bread (conjured no doubt) which he then delivers to the wounded Broken near the First aid trainer.

I didn't know what /camp did until last week.

If you do /gquit list you can see a list with exact dates and hours of people who quit yer guild. (though guildlog now does the same)

It took me untill i rolled on DB to find out that there is an option that allows you to get a notice when guildies log on and off.

This is extremely embarassing seeing as I started playing in Vanilla... but it took me until the start of WotLK to realise that Druids can also ress outside of combat... *bows head in shame*

That's nothing to be ashamed of as that ability was only added during TBC

Yes, but "Combat-ress" as it's known as had been there all along. And it could be used out of combat aswell. I just always thought that they could only ress in combat

The Gnome Fro was a popular hair style for gnomish gents but with the radiation accident the style was eradicated and all residents lost their fro's..

It appears there are Wandering Protectors wandering around in Ashenvale. Was quite surprising to suddenly see one wandering around.

The one that makes the most sense, from a biological standpoint, is that they are sensetive to touch, sort of like whiskers on cats. The reason for this could possibly be that they are hold-overs from a previous stage in Draenei (or rather, Eredar) evolution when they (presumably) walked on all fours and grazed on Argus' mountainsides.

That is of course massive speculation, but it makes sense. And yeah, that does mean that they can be classified as erogenous zones, and that I'm probably just a massive pervert.

But it still makes sense from a biological perspective, damn it!
